Despite my support for Elon Musk’s continuing efforts to reduce censorship and restore free speech protections on Twitter, I have been critical of some of his moves from his use of polls on restoring certain posters to the suspensions of media figures this week. However, this morning, I was struck by the European Union (EU) rushing into the controversy to threaten, again, sanctions against Musk. The EU is apparently aghast that Twitter could suspend media even temporarily after ignoring the bans on conservative media for years under the old management.
I understand Musk’s view of such tracking as a form of doxxing (particularly after a man reportedly used the information to attack the car with one of his children inside). Doxxing has long been subject to suspension. Indeed, figures connected with mainstream media from CNN to the Washington Post have been previously accused of doxxing. Liberal groups were accused of doxxing conservative justices and others, including dangerously posting information on the children of Justice Amy Coney Barrett. It does not seem to matter when the targets are conservative, Republican, or libertarian.
Figures who have long advocated the banning of others with opposing views are some of the loudest objecting in the wake of the doxxing controversy. Washington Post Taylor Lorenz expressed fear that she could be next. It may not be a groundless fear since Lorenz has been previously accused of doxxing others and described the reintroduction of free speech protections for others as the opening of “the gates of hell.”

And yet, even after the numerous articles and TV appearances Mr. Turley has made chronicling the left’s pernicious behavior, HE STILL VOTES DEMOCRAT.
Musk needs to ban all Euro Peons from Twitter. They really are too retarded to be on there anyway. Anyone who turns their country over to the Muzzies can’t be very smart.
I’m thinking that the BIGGER PROBLEM they have is with the Twitter Files as, eventually, some real leftist will notice that was EXACTLY what the Left was fighting in the 1970s.
And, while that hasn’t happened yet, they are trying to get ahead of the game and discredit Musk owning Twitter in whatever way possible, as trying to discredit the Twitter Files is simply not possible - so the next best thing they have is to discredit Musk because he’s mean to ‘journalists’ who want him and his family killed.
If they want to be commies, they can move to Russia or China.

Only to point this out...most European countries have their own criminal code for doxxing. Germany has criminal code 126A, which if convicted...is a minimum of 12 months in prison (up to 5 years). They aren’t talking about just your location...it could be your car (car-tag number), pic of your dog, etc.
The EU may claim some ‘holy’ front, but the same ‘crime’ in any European country will get you real serious jail-time.
So it’s all BS, with no real substance behind the EU comment.
I don’t know anything about Twitter but I wonder if particular accounts can be monitored and before tweets from it are posted they’re cleared for things like violations of a person’s (any person’s) safety.
I believe he reversed the ban- and said ‘the people have spoken’ when he did-

It seems that every 8 hours, Elon will either suspend a group of troublemakers or unsuspend that same group, cancelling out any attempt to punish, educate or discipline.
Eight hours later, the rhythm repeats.
I’m glad not to really care.
All of a sudden, free speech is important again.
When the left has power, it’s not important. When the Left
has power, the Constitution isn’t important.
Then they lose power and all of a sudden, that document
becomes pseudo-sacred again.
I’m glad to see that Blacks are figuring it out too. I’m
seeing more and more blacks on Instagram heralding how the
Democrats always talk big just before an election, and do
nothing the other 3.5 years.
Right now the Democrats are trying to set up DACA so it
won’t go away.
One Hispanic today put on a speech where she just blasted
the Left for talking a good game, but they had two years
before this with full majorities, and did nothing.
She was really taking it to them. Loved it.
Europe doesn’t matter.
When Twitter is remade, EU will not be a problem
Majority of Americans vote Democrat. Turley is with majority.
