VALLEJO, Calif. - A Vallejo restaurant worker says one of her regular customers is a hero for coming to her aid when she was confronted by an apparent robber, who shot him dead.
"He saved my life. That's the type of person he was. He saved my life. He's always going to be my guardian angel for life," said Teresa Brasher.

"If there was a need he saw at the church, he met it," said Pastor Eric Lura. "He was the first person to arrive and last to leave."

He sounds like a wonderful man. He lightened many lives and he will not be forgotten. Those types of people leave an imprint on many lives.

I lived in Benicia, next door, for 20 years, ate at this place on several occasions. Not in the best section of Vallejo, but not the worst either. Sad ending to a brave man. RIP.
It’s a pity he had to live in the major US slave state where the peons are denied the right of firearms for self defense. Had he been a citizen, in a Free state, it might have ended differently.

LOL, my son is a software engineer - he tells me Windows XP was one of the most stable platforms ever (at least I think it was that platform, they all look alike to me).
Sigh. I paid for the college education - and now I get flak for not knowing (what he says) are the most basic of computer functions.
He did recommend Brave for me b/c of the ad blocker and says the security is very good on that platform.
