Donald Trump's collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) has sold out in a matter of hours, with the "digital trading cards" now worth more than $500,000.
The former president was widely mocked for announcing he would be making a "major announcement" on Thursday, which was later revealed to be an NFT collection portraying him in guises such as a superhero, cowboy and astronaut, which could be bought for $99.

45,000 * $100 is $4.5 million not ~$500k.

It states an “NFT” card is worth 500k. Not sales.

I am pretty sure Trump is laughing now. He found some suckers to pay him $4.5 million for his crypto scam.
All these “non fungible tokens” are worth nothing.

now worth more than $500,000.
Am I to understand these $99 cards are each worth $500,000? Someone or a number of people are willing to pay that for these digital cards?

must be a licensing deal - the sales website has a disclaimer:’
“”NFT INT LLC is not owned, managed or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization, CIC Digital LLC or any of their respective principals or affiliates.”

Not so fast. It's a means to contribute to Trump's campaign anonymously. These are purchases not donations which would be doxed by anti-Trump media.
From American Thinker:
"Keep in mind, though, that money is fungible. There is nothing to stop NFT INT LLC from donating a substantial portion of the money it makes to… Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
Think of what’s going on here as the Hunter “the Artist” Biden approach to fundraising. "

I like Trump, but he just doesn't seem serious about getting back into the White House. Don't they have consultants who script politician's lives to make them seem ... presidential?
Or is that just the movies?

I’m not big fan of this whole thing either......but what something is worth is what someone is willing to pay for it.
The question is what will these NFTs be worth in a year, 5 years, 10.........only time will tell.
