They must have taken that poll among the filthy, ignorant DC burgers.

And the internals of the polling were ... what? How big was the sample? What regions were sampled? For all I know, Monmouth limited their polling to the current U.S. Senate. A that would be the *only* polling sample I can think of off the cuff where 18% could be remotely true.

Probably one of the few accurate polls. Republicans have repeatedly shown that they are more democrat than republican in all ways but one — and that is that they don’t have the backbone to really fight. But then maybe that is because they are really democrats.

Changing for the better wasn’t on the ballot. My choices were quick and illegal destruction, or slower but legal destruction.

Mitch McConnell pushing for the Omnibus bill is the reason why. This would tie the new Republican House fiscal authority until next September.

I’m in agreement with that. The whole of fed government is corrupt. What’s the solution when you can’t trust our voting system to boot.

Well, the GOP doesn’t control Washington — only the House.

And they only barely control that.

Trump set up the Republican party to be the dominate party for decades. The Republican establishment threw away the opportunity by going to war with the base of the party, undermining Republican candidates and being complicit in rigged elections.

It’s not hard to see which party will eventually go extinct.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
If Trump had listened to his voters following the 1/6 steal, the GOP would already be extinct. He didn’t, and now he’s going to pay an embarrassing price.

I am not in that 18 percent. The vast majority of Republicans, politicians and voters, have no idea what needs to be done or lack all desire to fight to get the job done. They are not unified. They are pussies.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
They have no desire to achieve anything remotely resembling a populist agenda, which is why they despise Trump and all of his supporters. The GOP is, with few exceptions, a mirror image of the Democrat Party.

Since repubs actively sabotage maga type candidates, nothing will change. Same ol’same ol’, just more dems with (R) after their names

No question about it, and basically what I just posted myself.

Absolutely accurate observation, and the sooner that snake pit of vipers is made to disappear the better for America.

Get rid of all federal regulations…

Actually, let's get rid of the federal government, specifically the house and senate.

The house and senate are relics of how governments needed to be organized in the past in order to get representation for distant areas of a country. We no longer have that problem of getting representation, since that can be done from afar, with the internet and TV and radio. Voting for issues and bills can be done remotely, and debates and presentations don't have to be in a central building in Washington.

Reps and senators are supposed to represent the wishes of the local state governments, and those states can make their wishes and decisions made remotely.

FIRE Washington!

Can anyone say, “McConnell and McCarthy?”

I knew you could.

I think the 18.00% might be stretching it.

I am thinking that you may be spot on here. There is really little support from this malicious system by the vast majority of people. Most of Congress represents nobody save themselves. They see their end coming and they are seeking to grab all that they can before the inevitable.
