Elon Musk Puts Justin Trudeau on Notice over ‘Attempt to Muzzle the Voice of the People of Canada’

Twitter CEO Elon Musk put Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on notice over possible censorship today. Musk has been extraordinarily transparent and accessible since taking over Twitter and has faced enormous amounts of blowback.

But a Twitter whistleblower recently came forward and detailed how bad it was before Elon took over (this is a separate report and not the Twitter Suppression Files Musk released last week), so all his critics should be thanking him for securing such a vital platform.

“In 2020, Twitter had security incidents serious enough they had to be reported to the federal government on an almost weekly basis. Meanwhile, Parag Agarwal was lying about how secure Twitter was.

On 1/6, Mudge (the whistleblower) wanted to take action to prevent potential sabotage by a rogue employee. He learned it was not possible for Twitter to secure its production environment.

“Mudge realized that a data center failure could potentially cause the permanent loss of all of Twitter’s data. He shared this fact with senior leadership, who instructed him not to put it in writing for the Board…

Twitter knowingly allowed itself to be infiltrated by, or otherwise a tool of, many governments.

“After Agrawal became CEO, he wanted to present materially misleading information to the Board, overriding Mudge’s objections.

“Other employees raised similar objections. Ultimately it seems the material was shared anyway, and Mudge described the presentation to the Board as fraud.

“Internal review after the meeting confirmed this assessment. Mudge began working on a report to correct the record with the Board. As his report neared completion, he was fired.”

“At least 5,000 employees had privileged access to production systems.
That is crazy. Every operation of any size has separate TESTING/QA/PROD environments. The trend now is to minimize access to servers so access is quite limited even to those who have it. As a backup admin, I could restore data, and overwrite data, but I generally could NOT look at the files I was restoring over overwriting. A nuisance, but one with a reason.

For years, even getting NEEDED access required at very least logging of such access. CyberArk is one PITA program used for such a purpose. That way, when a system is compromised, the company knows who was in it. How could such a top heavy company with so much sensitive data not have something like that in place?!

However, he is involved in activities that I do not agree with, that must also be part of the discussion.

We should be thankful for the good he is doing, while being careful to not put him on a conservative pedestal, as you said he is doing other things which should cause concern. I am really glad he is exposing the corruption at Twitter and reinvigorating free speech.

Sadly that’s probably true. And it’s not just the DOJ, it’s all of government and especially the propaganda organs.

Their former idol has turned against them and he must be destroyed.

Only an uprising from the grassroots in support of him can keep that from happening.
