Billionaire Leftist And DeSantis Megadonor Voices Support For DeSantis To End Populism By Running Against Trump
National File ^ | November 7, 2022 | PAUL AUBERT

Ken Griffin, who contributed $5 million to DeSantis' reelection campaign, also donated to Biden and Obama's presidential runs.

The Republican Governor of Florida seems to be putting together a 2024 presidential run against former President Donald Trump, who is expected to announce his campaign soon.

During Ron DeSantis’ gubernatorial reelection campaign this cycle, his largest donation came from Ken Griffin, the billionaire CEO of Citadel, a massive investment firm.

Griffin donated a whopping $5 million to the Republican governor’s ongoing campaign.

The billionaire CEO told Politico how he hopes DeSantis will run for president in 2024. Griffin, who contributed $500,000 to Joe Biden’s 2020 inaugural committee and fundraised for Barack Obama in 2008, explained what kind of Republican and leader he expects DeSantis to be.

Knocking a Trump-energized GOP, Griffin commented, “I think it’s time to move on to the next generation.”

Lacking a socially-conservative viewpoint, Griffin told Politico how a DeSantis presidential campaign could improve the GOP’s diversity and “blunt the vein of populism that has complicated the party’s relationship with the corporate world.”

Additionally, Griffin is pushing a big-tent party ideology onto Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

“Many of the conversations with Kevin McCarthy about candidates are really about ‘How do we bring more people from different backgrounds into the Republican Party?’” Griffin said of his view on the GOP’s future.

Alex Brusewitz, a rightwing political operative, described Griffin’s donation to be a move “to destroy America First.”

“Ken Griffin hates MAGA & the America First movement. He is a full fledged globalist. I find it to be very troubling that Ken is Ron DeSantis’ biggest backer,” Brusewitz added.

Ken Griffin wants to “blunt the vein of populism that has complicated the party’s relationship with corporate America.” Aka he wants to destroy America First.

Donates to The Big Guy and Osama Obama yet he wants to decide the GOP nominee in ‘24? Hmmm...I wonder if that's because he thinks that DeSantis is beatable!

Donations to DeSantis is meant to set him up to run against Trump, and hopefully eliminate Trump from the 2024 presidential election.

It’s a democrat ploy to try to finally be rid of Trump.

Won’t work.

“blunt the vein of populism that has complicated the party’s relationship with the corporate world”

There’s a problem with that. The corporate world has pretty much left American workers holding the short end of the stick.

Trump supporters are much like working-class Democrats of decades long ago. Democrats supported labor while Republicans supported management. It was like an enormous collective bargaining operation held in Washington, DC.

The problem is you cannot always represent two opposing sides. The Democrats abandoned the workers in favor of corporations, the ultra-rich and urban hipsters. The New York Times had an editorial about this that Rush pointed out in one of his shows.

It’s not 1980 anymore.

Exactly right, and why Paul Ryan is supporting DeSantis.

Imagine that, after 233 years we’ve finally decided not to
let people vote for the most popular candidate. That would
be the man the public feels would be the best man to do
what is best for the nation.

Whew, we’ve made real progress.

This Leftist double word play stuff knows no bounds.

Populism is despised by politicians because they view it as enabling the huddled masses to oversee what they’re doing to enrich themselves while doing virtually nothing for the common people. This is why President Trump was, and still is, targeted for destruction. Can’t have a President who pays attention to the hoi polloi now can we?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. It doesn't matter how many (influential) million$ donors give to DeSantis he is not deep state (wink-wink). Don't pay any attention to the recent appointment of Dr. Julia Nesheiwat as Florida’s First Chief Resilience Officer.

There's no telling how Florida ever got along without that (what ever "that" is) position of power before now.

Knocking a Trump-energized GOP, Griffin commented, “I think it’s time to move on to the next generation.”
Uh no, that would be moving BACK to the last failed generation. Someone tell Ron that. He apparently doesn't know WTF he's doing or getting into.

Ron should stick with transgender issues and PTA meetings.

I’ll wait till I hear DeSantis actually say something but the people supporting him makes it seem like he’s just another NeoCon.

My God, where does this hatred for Trump come from. It can’t just be “grab them by the pussy.” After all, old Joe Biden raped his own daughter repeatedly in the shower. Crickets.

I was actually warming up to DeSantis...but then all the Neocons run to him and now the same with Democrats. They know something about him that’s being kept from our side.

So, back to Trump.

I wouldn’t go that far but I wouldn’t vote for him in any primary. That being said, I have no idea if he is a NeoCons stooge but I just get the vibes from the people who support him.

“My God, where does this hatred for Trump come from. It can’t just be “grab them by the pussy.””

It’s not that. It’s that Trump WOULD NOT permit the Neocons and Globalists to continue their psycho attempt to take over the world (including dividing up Russia and going after China). In fact, this bunch was set to roll in 2017 with their ‘Ukraine Project’ and Trump stopped them cold (it was obvious based on what Hillary was saying about Russia in 2016).

They were forced to wait-out Trump before getting back to work on Ukraine, and probably on many of their other ‘projects’, including the rush to depopulate the West, moving from meat to bugs for protein, legalizing pedophilia, and ending personal transportation.

That’s why they DESPISE Trump.
