Excellent!

It'll be less likely that the EU will use those weapons on their own populations who object to Freezing and Starving in the Dark.

Sucks to be in the EU.

Given that they are de-industrializing, no more bullets for you.

I see this as the EU sent old equipment to Ukraine and that equipment has decimated the Russian military. The inventories can now be refreshed with new more advanced / better equipment.

Really? Because if you google Josep Borell Fontelles and find his twitter feed, he is talking about increasing support for Ukraine.

Josep Borrell Fontelles @JosepBorrellF · Dec 12
EU official.
The EU remains committed to provide military support to #Ukraine and other partners alike.
We are increasing today the financial ceiling of the European Peace Facility #EPF by €2 billion in 2023.

It’s almost as if they spent no money of their militaries, but on their social programs because some chump was their free military force for them...

I would not say it is over but the fat lady is standing up ready to sing.

The next move is for pig face bidets cabal to send in US troops directly into the front lines.

The chance for a cease fire has long passed.

Person I know in Austria has indicated a very large surge of refugees into parts of Europe.
I would not go to certain towns/parts of Europe as an American right now. Not really safe for Americans.

I understand that London has been on the receiving end of a rather nice snow storm. So weather is going to ramp up the hate towards those they will blame...and Russia has the fuel to provide for comfort and the American administration is being seen as standing in the way of that.

All paid originally by the US and will be replenished by the US. If we were smart, we’d cut them off, let Europe defend themselves.

Great news for Ukraine supporters and those for a strong NATO.

The best thing is to go to his actual blog where he talks about the increased spending and the need to further increase European defense budgets, and to continue to support Ukraine while preparing for future threats, (Russia).

“The overall conclusions are clear and this is the message I will bring to European leaders at the EU Summit next week:

The threats we face are real, close-by and likely to get worse. At the same time, everything is in place for a leap forward on defence cooperation: we have the ideas, the money, the EU frameworks and an organisation, the EDA, specifically set up as a forum to boost defence cooperation. We need action and this requires a political push from the top, i.e. EU Presidents and Prime Ministers.

We should not just spend more on defence but better. And this means cooperate more. To continue supporting Ukraine; to address present needs; and to start preparing for the future.”

We are almost a decade behind in restocking our weapons as they disappear into the Ukraine woodwork. I hate paying for crap twice while leaving our military short-supplied.

Weapons do get old and require maintains to remain useful.

It is not like the Russians haven’t used up a lot of their stock piles also.
