Tina Turner's son Ronnie Turner has died. He was 62 years old.
Ronnie's death was confirmed by his mother on her Instagram account.
"Ronnie, you left the world far too early," the musician wrote. "In sorrow I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son."
Ronnie's wife Afida Turner also confirmed the news on Instagram. The French singer shared photos of her family in a carousel post with her statement.
"I did the best to the end this time I was no[t] able to save you. Love you for... 17 years this is very very very bad and I am very mad," she wrote in the caption of her post. "This is a tragedy u with your brother Craig and your father Ike Turner and Aline rest in paradise… So unfair."

Sad to hear this. Enjoyed Tina Turner- she went through a lot. I was actually at her first comeback concert in 1984 at the Ritz in NYC. It was the final scene in the movie.

It is a milder form of death.
God, when I was a teenager in the mid 80's, we all commented on how hot Tina looked at 45.

Per law enforcement insiders, a 911 call was received last Thursday morning, from a person who identified that Ronnie was outside of his home - having difficulty in breathing.
Unfortunately, he was not breathing at all after a few moments has passed.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was done by bystanders in the area, even before first-aid paramedics arrived at the scene in Ronnie Turner's home in California.
However, despite extreme resuscitation efforts, Ronnie Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.
That must have been a great show. I’ve always admired her and a big fan. Her special in her own words tells a story of relentless abuse and personal suffering. She just wants peace for the reminder of her days. I am so sorry for her loss.
Safe and effective again?
From her comments it sounds to me more likely a lost battle against drugs or depression or some other mental illness.

It was pretty terrific- July of 1984. I had returned from the LA Olympics barely a week earlier. She did a lot of new songs no one knew because the album was not yet out- though i do remember “I might have been Queen” well from the show

If her son is 62, how old is Tina? Must be in her eighties. Wow. Where has the time gone?
