The group doing a lot of the fact-checking on Facebook was based in France. I was constantly getting the “check the election results” fact checks on virtually all of my posts.

Definitely hyperventilating GP here but it looks like the guy named the parent of Politifact and disclaims specific knowledge about who, what, where they operated. It’s an interesting data point but too soon to light hair on fire to be sure.

Stark contrast with the hard data from the Twitter files that they targeted specific conservative individuals and topics for shadow banning. They also lied about it. Executives of a publicly traded company. Would seem to me that would open them to legal or civil repercussions. We’ll see how far that goes. Haven’t seen anything shocking or unexpected yet.
