Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel unequivocally endorsed mail-in balloting Tuesday, distancing herself from former President Donald Trump on an issue that is fracturing the GOP in the wake of disappointing election results this fall.
“What we do need is our voters need to vote early,” McDaniel, a longtime Trump ally, said during a televised interview on Fox News. “I have said this over and over again. There were many in 2020 saying, ‘Don’t vote by mail, don’t vote early.’ And we have to stop that.”...
"The discussion was about Democrats having a month to bank votes while Republicans expect to get it done in one day," RNC spokesperson Nathan Brand said in a statement to NBC News. "We were not talking about the former president, who has encouraged his base to vote early and has himself voted by mail."
But Trump, who already has launched a 2024 presidential campaign, also is the most prominent skeptic of voting by mail. He continues to raise false and unsubstantiated claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him, in part through vote-by-mail programs in battleground states. As recently as last week on his Truth Social website, he wrote, in all capital letters for emphasis: “YOU CAN NEVER HAVE FAIR & FREE ELECTIONS WITH MAIL-IN BALLOTS — NEVER, NEVER, NEVER.”

Trying to “beat them at their own game” will not work.
They control the mailing of the ballots. If more Repubs request a mail in ballot, they will just put some small mark on the return envelope or some barcode on it to identify it as a Repub vote.
Two wrongs don’t make a right ... remember that old saying? It is true today as much as it was true in the past.
That being said, there will NEVER be another fair election in this country ever.
The Red states need to begin the process of seceding from the union. They need to begin to work together economically and plan for how to make the new country work by reestablishing the founding documents, the Bill of Rights, and scrap all the garbage that has been added to the law books over the past 100 years. Additionally the red states need to begin doing for themselves what the Federal govt is suppose to do (eg. enforce immigration laws and ignore the Feds).
Anything short of that is a waste of time
There is zero benefit to early voting, especially when the dems are counting the votes. It just gives them better numbers to work with. It’s embarrassing for both rinos and democrats when they have to stop the counting in the middle of the night and flip the votes by huge numbers in order to win. If we would just fall in line, they could cheat so much more believably. There is no reason for voting by mail except to promote fraud. She needs to go away

Mail in voting is an invitation to fraud. It was supposed to be a measure to deal with COVID. It is no longer needed.
Agree. I voted early this year. My ballot arrived promptly after about 4 days in a certified letter format and I mailed it back within 48 hours. I understand why some are nervous about it, though. It is somewhat comforting to vote in person and watch it go into the machine and register, which is absent with mail-in systems. It is all by faith whether we believe either is counted or not.
The red wave swept my county here in NC. We even voted out the D Sheriff.

Yup with Covid the horse has left the barn. Its time to play the same dirty game. Whining about it is just going to handicap the Republicans to only stick with one limited day of voting.
I would be in favor on going back to a voting day or at most a voting weekend but you can’t change voting laws without being in power and you don’t gain power without winning elections, either you play the game with the rules as they exist or you continue to lose, complaining is just sour grapes

It should be, but in some states, it’s not… so if the GOP wants to be competitive going forward, it’d better learn how to harvest ballots as aggressively as the dems.
