It is, her parents chose it from a list of "African girl names" sent by an aunt who was in west Africa for the Peace Corps. Given the hundreds of languages in all of west Africa, Ketanji could come from practically anywhere south of the Sahara.

Which leads to something I have difficulty understanding. My European roots are English, Irish, and Italian, but I would not think I had a "good European name" if my parents had named me Henrik or Theophanes or Kalevi; but any POCs in this country do not seem to care whether their names come from Nigeria or Kenya or Zimbabwe, as long as it's "African." Even without the genealogical records, DNA could indicate what part of Africa your ancestors came from, which would give you the opportunity to name your children something that their ancestors might also have been named.
