A Catholic bishop in Texas slammed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Twitter over a comment she made appearing to compare the abortion debate in the United States to rapes committed by soldiers in Russia’s war with Ukraine and Taliban rule.
"Please, please don’t listen to this evil woman," Bishop Joseph Strickland of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas, tweeted on Friday. "Her lies and immorality need to be silenced for the good of humanity."
Strickland’s post was accompanied by an article highlighting comments made by the former Democratic presidential candidate at the Clinton Presidential Center's summit on women’s rights, where she was asked by interviewer Christiane Amanpour about a past statement she made that women’s rights were "unfinished business."
"We have come a long way since I made that statement, back in 1995, on so many fronts," Clinton responded. "But we are also in a period of time where there is a lot of pushback and much of the progress that has been, I think, taken for granted by too many people is under attack."
HILLARY CLINTON ROASTED FOR LATEST 'BASKET OF DEPLORABLES' MOMENT: HER EGO IS 'PREPOSTEROUS'
Hillary Clinton discusses President Biden's 'MAGA Republicans' speech on 'The View,' in September. (ABC The View)
"Literally under attack, in places like Iran or Afghanistan or Ukraine, where rape is a tactic of war, or under attack by political and cultural forces in a country like our own, when it comes to women's health care and bodily autonomy."

Strickland is too Catholic. He's a "rigorist", according to Bergoglio.
Ping
Bishop Strickland tells the truth.
This will not do ...
At least we know Hillary Clinton isn’t the anti Christ, as the anti Christ is charming and likable…
” Mother Teresa prays as first lady Hillary Clinton looks on during a blessing ceremony for Mother Teresa’s Home for Infants, on June 19, 1995..”
She never ceases to amaze.
Years from now the Democrats will want her to lay in
state at the U. S. Capital
The Republicans will probably go along with it.
But this same Catholic bishop believes in the false concept of systematic racism.
I wish they would ignore her ranting as this is what she wanted to provoke a response and get more publicity for her new run for President. Who would the demos vote for; a woman with her marbles and no ethics or a man with dementia and no ethics in 2024? She will be the savor of the party. If VP Harris pokes her head out of her office Hillary would destroy her. Hillary’s smart but her faults (hate, little patience, condescending attitude, unrestricted political warfare, want for power, money schemes) have led her to where she is today.
The Clinton’s have been the infallible patron saints of identity politics since 1992.
Now THAT would make a great tshirt.
GO halfsies?...
:)
I don’t think Hillary is all that smart. If you look at her career from the Watergate Committee forward, she has messed up everything she ever got her hands on. As to her ethics etc., I agree completely.

Please provide a link to back up this claim.
The link you provided is just a description of what it is, but does not indicate that Bishop Strickland supports it. I would like a link showing his support. TYIA
Well, here is my response.
All bishops are part of the USCCB. So, if there is no explicit publication from him that he does NOT support this posting on the USCCB website, then by default, he suppprts it. Abstention or hiding by not publically stating either way is not a get out of jail free card.
So, instead, I ask that you please show me a link that specifically states the bishop disagrees with the publicized USCCB position about the lie that is called systemic racism. Thanks.
On March 10, 2021 Bishop Strickland stated (on his show of that date) that “Atheism is the root problem in society, not racism.” I found this when doing a quick search on the internet. You can do it, too! It would behoove you to try to find facts to back up your statements, rather than just assuming the worst about someone. Bishop Strickland is one of the few good bishops in the USA, and he deserves our support and prayers!
Just because he states atheism is the root problem does not somehow make him not agree with the USCCB’s policy on systemic racism. He can agree with both even if he think one is the root cause of societies issues.
This is how logic works. Thinking one thing is more pertinent than another does not by default mean the person disagrees with the second item.
I would expect nothing less than a clear and unequivical denunciation of the concept of systemic racism for me to agree that he does not support the concept.
