(NEXSTAR) – One week after the Thanksgiving holiday, and chances are good that you are sniffling, coughing or feeling a little scratch in your throat. It’s not just you – the country is contending with a “tripledemic” of viruses (not to mention, a whole lot of common cold).
As of late November, reported COVID-19 cases in the U.S. were stable, but high. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recorded about 300,000 new cases over the past week, but that number is likely an undercount, as home tests often aren’t reported to public health agencies.
Meanwhile, influenza is rising rapidly and on its way to a peak much earlier than the typical flu season. The CDC’s preliminary count is rough, but the agency believes as many as 14 million have been sickened and up to 8,400 people have died.

The normal is now seen as a great way to continue exerting control.
Most of the fools I see still masking wear their cheap ass surgical masks do it as a security blanket or pacifier - they might as well wear garlic around their necks to prevent against vampires.
This is stupid; allowing open Borders so millions of unvetted illegals can enter our Country.

Pfizer was concerned about vax shedding in Nov 2020
(exposure to study intervention[aka vax] by inhalation or skin contact)
Are people taking the flu shot? Is the flu shot working?
And how much of this is new illnesses/mutations from the Border Hordes?
Hubby and I caught the flu Election week. since then it has turned into a touch of pneumonia. The coughing is the most annoying. We have meds and have been taking vitamins; to a lesser extent ivermectin.
Definitely. Up until 11/18 when I retired, I was constantly exposed to multi-vaxxers.
Yeah. This time of year is flu season and the Covid rules of the past two years made it worse by decreasing natural immunity.
Our immune systems are compromised after 2 years of lock down. And as an Added Bonus (a Feature, not a Bug!) they injected a lot of us with poison.
I, myself, had a bad cold in January of 2020. No illnesses since, but I get a lot of fresh air and sunshine and have always had an everyday cold in the Spring of the year, usually around Easter. Like clockwork.
I like to think that my body re-boots itself by having those colds. I just chug the NyQuil and sleep for a few days and then I’m fine again. *SHRUG*
Mr. GG2 and I just got over a two week fling with some kind of flu/cold thing. No we did not test to see if we had covid. We have been maskless all year. We weren’t deathly ill but it takes 2-3 weeks to shake the cough. We just continued with the Zelenko protocol plus colloidal silver.
I got the flu from a co-worker before Thanksgiving, and it transitioned to walking pneumonia that I’m still recovering from. So it’s been pretty rough as I’m rarely out sick but have lost 2 weeks and am still not back to myself. I’m hearing the same as what this article is saying, that it’s a pretty tough time right now with a lot of bugs going around.
A relative with the seasonal vaccine and multiple Covid shots was sick for 5 days. I, unvaccinated, was sick with similar symptoms for less than 3 days. You can’t learn anything from just 2 people but I thought it was interesting.
Because they’re not taking Vitamin D, zinc, and Vitamin C.
I take these three and haven’t been sick since catching delta for 24 hrs in September 2021.
Flu season starts every year within a few weeks of the flu shot campaign. For seeral years, every traditional healthcare facility gets Medicare disbursement based on flu shot participants/ mitigation.
I have run flu tests in the la for decades. This is “sick season”.
Healthcare is administrative health care.
Weakened immune systems from all those jabs, plus some more severe reactions especially from the latest round of jabs.
I agree. When is the last time you heard anyone sneeze or cough in a public setting?
I only grudgingly wore the mask during the pandemonium maybe half a dozen times, and two of those times it was a bandanna. You know, old western outlaw
Style.
Haven’t worn one since.
Oh, never got the shot either.
More people probably avoided getting a flu shot this season because of all the hype over vacs. Now they’re getting sick. mUsT bE A cOnSpIrAcY!!
We are in the midst of the 6th global extinction event.
The flu just up and disappeared while they were pushing covid on us. Now we have covid and the flu has miraculously recovered and a new mRNA clot shot is about ready to go. All they have to do is bury the dead mice.
