Far-right activist Milo Yiannopoulos said he arranged the dinner between former President Donald Trump and white nationalist Nick Fuentes in order to make the former president’s “life miserable,” according to NBC News.
Yiannopoulos, who is reportedly advising rapper Kanye West, formally known as ‘Ye,’ told the outlet he was “the architect” behind the plan of having Fuentes travel with Ye so that he could infiltrate the dinner. Yiannopoulos told NBC News he “wanted to show Trump the kind of talent that he’s missing out on by allowing his terrible handlers to dictate who he can and can’t hang out with.”
“I also wanted to send a message to Trump that he has systematically repeatedly neglected, ignored, abused the people who love him the most, the people who put him in office, and that kind of behavior comes back to bite you in the end,” Yiannopoulos reportedly said.

If you’re upset that a former US President had dinner, at an event, with someone you don’t like, you are a useless tool.
Milo was a thing there for a while. Made a big name for laying out some connections that came to be popularized as the Alt-Right.
Kanye has more followers than any Conservative you can mention. Also, can play a role in bringing even more younger blacks over to a MAGA way of life.

I took a look at the replies to one of his posts and 100% of the replies were violent posts about being Jewish and gay.
Strange alliances this dude is making with Fuentes and Ye. It’s like a Jew propping up Hitler and expecting to get love from the Nazis.

Despite all of the opposition against him, the alt-Right also believed that Trump could have gotten the wall built completely and much earlier, and they weren't that happy with Trump focusing on relations with Israel over unfinished business at home.
I'm not certain, but I think some of them thought, despite the optics, that Trump should have called out the National Guard to prevent all the burning, looting, and mayhem done by BLM and Antifa.
I think the alt-Right had an illusion that they were somehow the architects of Trump's populism. Trump's populism was all Trump. If some of his beliefs lined up with the alt-Right it was just happenstance. If his tweets got snarky Gen-Z's to vote for him then that was just gravy. Their votes were not critical to his win in 2016.

I do believe that Trump didn’t know who Fuentes was. You pretty much have to spend a lot of time on social media to have ever heard of the guy.
