TRUMP GETS PLAYED. What is sure to be one of the weirder moments of the 2024 presidential campaign has just taken place before the campaign is even fully underway.
Here is the short version: Just before Thanksgiving, former President Donald Trump had dinner at Mar-a-Lago with Kanye West, Nick Fuentes, and Milo Yiannopoulos. West is the famous rapper, businessman, and reported bipolar disorder patient who says he will run for president in 2024, a campaign he began last month by announcing on Twitter that he was "going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE," a threat that brought him widespread condemnation and the loss of lucrative contracts. Fuentes, who many readers might not have heard of, is a 24-year-old white nationalist self-promoter who has sought publicity and online donations with a long series of racist and antisemitic statements and is now, apparently, working for West's so-called campaign. Yiannopoulos is a 38-year-old British provocateur who has spent a good part of his life doing the same sort of thing that Fuentes does and is now apparently also working for YE24, which is how West, who wants to be known simply as "Ye," refers to his presidential campaign.
What do they have in common? Well, Fuentes and Yiannopoulos are joined in a quest to exploit West's money and fame. But as far as politics is concerned, the greater similarity is that they are all lowlifes who should never be allowed near a former president of the United States, much less a current candidate for president. And yet Trump shared a table at Mar-a-Lago with them. The event quickly leaked because that is precisely what West, Fuentes, and Yiannopoulos intended. The usual suspects in the media and political world immediately denounced Trump.

Loving Trump and then hating him is smart?
One suspects that the Dems can make profitable use of this apparent lapse of judgement for spot ads that will resonate with low information voters.

Is that what Milo has said or done?
Well put.
It was a silly stunt pulled by West. Trump isn't a racist and this isn't proof that he is.
Only woketards and Never Trumpers give a damn and they will never support Trump anyway.
You apparently want Trump to play the the rules of the woke crowd, grovel and apologize profusely when there is nothing to apologize for.
Is the New York Times calling Fuentes a white Hispanic?
I don’t think Milo is a “lowlife,” Byron.
That’s an awful broad brush you’re painting with there.
Stop it.
You’re telling me you have never had a dinner with someone whose views you can’t stand?
Go unbunch your panties.
How the freep is supposed to know who Nick Fuentes is?
Trump is loyal to his friends. He considered West a friend.
This isn't a story to anyone expect the woke and Never Trump crowd.
Because the ‘press’ is made up of hysterical bimbos and pretentious men - people who are afraid of ‘the other’... nay ‘the other’ - we get this weirdness.
Liberal members of the press feel if you’re in the presence of someone NOT on “the OK list” that you’ll be instantly seduced by whatever ideas are spoken. Yes, it’s stupid. I could have dinner with David Duke for a month and I’d never buy into his racism. But that’s not how liberals see it. They live in fear.
Worse, press bimbos and pretentious men have a list of people they aren’t afraid of... people they’re open to: for example the folks who want to sexually mutilate children are on the ‘OK’ lists for liberals. Liberals can have dinner with them and invite them to their parties and appoint them to cabinet positions in Government. And there’s a good chance those people should NOT be accepted without challenge. But on the list? And they’re in.
Exactly...nobody ever scrutinizes or even questions the nefarious characters that visit the WH when D’s are in office.
Do we want to create a list? Let’s start one for Obama with his Islamist friends. ...but that is fine right? ...but Trump should never meet with anyone that somebody might think isn’t ‘good’.
Good grief. ...and last I knew Milo is still a big Trump supporter.
But he can’t resist “celebrities” because they are heroes to him, even if they think he is orange man bad.
In answer to your post.
This from another thread by "wiseprince"- please absorb it into your cloudy thinking.
Trump really shouldn’t distance himself from this at all. Eating with someone doesn’t mean you support every word he’s ever uttered. It’s ridiculous really. He should actually run on this.
Remember when Trump wasn’t allowed to talk to Kim Jung Un and turned it into a 3 year peace. Trump should not be constantly responding or defending himself. Just points out how clueless they are.

Exactly.
By all accounts, Simon the Pharisee was a perfect jerk.
Oh! The pearl clutching!
Where’s yer fainting couch?
Responsibility for what?? Pissing off the left because he had dinner with 3 people that are enemies of the left? This is the ONLY reason that this is a story. Trump has reached out and IS appealing to segments of the population nobody thought possible. Blacks, homosexuals. This is why the left is upset about this. White supremacists? Who the f cares who the left labels white supremacist?? They've been saying that about Trump since Trump announced the first time.
People need to stop believing what the leftist press is spinning here and feeling all faint about it.
And Obama's commie friends ... and the Clintons with their sexual perverts and grifters. The press is unable to see past their little narrow biased view of the world. Guess that happens when thought is replaced by strict lineal orthodoxy.
