For years, the Russian government has been attempting to create an 'Iron Man'-type of suit for battle. This had remained all talk, but in recent years, this world superpower has appeared to have started testing the use of exoskeletons on the battlefield with Ukraine.
Even prior to recent Russian media announcements about their hope to build a superhuman exoskeleton for soldiers, giving them the ability to both carry more weapons and have more stamina, Russian powers had been rumored to have testing out a suit of armor that would make Star Wars fans nostalgic.
Russian media stated that artillery forces would be testing "exoskeletons" over a course of two months during the winter. As the conflict only continues to escalate, what could this mean for Ukrainian soldiers? Ukrainian soldiers can expect to hear of rumored testing of these structures in the coming months, as testing will allegedly begin in December 2022.

“I want my bird.”
Artillery would be a good place to put them with the heavy artillery rounds.
They will be blown to smithereens by artillery.
If you can’t afford to feed, clothe and arm your soldiers, you can’t afford to give them iron man suits. Whatever money they have is already tied up in yachts and dachas. But they don’t like queers.
You are breaking a stereotype of Russia like nothing worth in developments.
HAHAHA!!!!!
GTMA!
Dead before ever shot via G forces.
After the plan failed, the gang, having taken hostages in a local hotel, wore the armour during a final shootout with the police. Byrne died from a stray bullet that hit his groin through a small gap in the armour, and in an attempt to rescue Dan and Hart, Ned donned his suit during a fifteen-minute exchange of gunfire with the police. Although the armour protected his head and torso, he received several bullet wounds to the hands and legs, causing significant blood loss and resulting in his capture. Hart and Dan died during the final stages of the siege, possibly in a suicide pact. After making sufficient recovery from his wounds, Ned was tried, convicted, and sentenced to death by hanging.

Well, at least one thing going for them...
The idea of a Russian Iron Man suit is laughable. The investment it would take would be immense, and if a 50 ton tank can be taken out by a drone or man-portable ATGM, how little would it require to wipe out something with only a fraction of that armor?
I am Iron ‘Mander!!!
/sorry, I just had to finally get that out of my system
Yes, they will call it “Stalin.”
The Russians are very good at doing a technical “one of”. It’s in the manufacturing where they fall apart.
A fool's errand. There are already robots that can carry weapons to the battlefield. Human operators can stay out of harm's way. Even better, are autonomous robots like the Tesla-bot under development. Battles in the near future are going to be waged with robots. Already happening with flying drones and unmanned aircraft.
LOL...they are failing at the most basic of war necessities and they are going to fool around with exoskeletons?
Glad you had the opportunity. Lol!
It better not be made of metal because a good dose of 1 megawatt electromatic radiation could cook them in their armor.
Well, and then there’s “rust.” Will take a lot of WD-40 to keep them workable. Maybe it’s a good time to invest in grease fittings?
