How independent voters saved Democrats
Vox ^ | 26 Nov 2022 | Christian Paz

Posted on 11/27/2022 1:26:12 AM PST by blueplum

Democrats would not have had such a good election night without the support of independent voters.

...Despite plenty of polling this year showing that independents were, like Republicans, primarily concerned with the state of the economy and inflation, they ended up making nuanced decisions in key statewide races — and that worked to benefit Democrats....

...Perhaps the most confounding result for pundits across the spectrum was how the negative perception voters, and especially independents, had of President Joe Biden’s job performance and the state of the economy did not translate into a massive swing for Republicans. But voters weren’t viewing their Election Day options through a single lens....

Yes Hobbs sqeeked out a marginal fart win for herself when 108% of the precincts reported their votes.

Maricopa County doesn't vote or report by precinct.

All the lessons learned such as Trump is finished, results prove Biden is on the right track, Republicans need to moderate, move on from election fraud, all of it is bunk.

Election fraud IS the issue.

I think this is right question to ask...where was the messaging to appeal to voters beyond “base” Republicans? Where was the strategy for getting out the vote and taking advantage of the existing voting laws within each state? If a state offers early voting...why in the world tell voters to only vote on one day? What was or is the GOP plan for reducing inflation? And why in the hell would you put out a plan that appears to put SS and Medicare on the cutting block?

Ronna, Mitch and Rick Scott did not appear to work together in a strategic or successful fashion to entice/persuade voters to vote for GOP candidates.

It wasn’t Independents
It wasn’t Suburban women
It wasn’t Gen Z
It wasn’t Millenials
It wasn’t Abortion
It wasn’t Dem turnout
It wasn’t a lack of Pubbies turnout
It wasn’t about saving democracy.
It wasn’t about ending SS

It was determined by a network of harvesters who produced tens of thousands of votes from mail-in ballots

How many articles are we going to see here of someone’s useless analysis of why they think we lost and what needs to be fixed?
Until we deal with the problem of mail-in ballots being sent to every address, and third-party surrogates being allowed to turn them in, we will never win any state or national election where this is allowed.
Instead we’ll be in here in 2024 reading more useless analysis of what needs to be corrected this time.
You can not out vote fraudulent ballots, and all the ridiculous handwringing does squat.

And, once they perfect the way to use ballot harvesting from smaller congressional districts, we’ll lose the house races. It appears they have come close this year. You can bet they’ll be better in 2024

“Hard to believe these spoiled young brats living off their parents suddenly becoming conscientious voting citizens worried about someone else’s rights.”

Its called virtue signaling and they practice this in college for 4 years instead of learning job skills.

The Republican Establishment didn’t WANT a red wave.

A rout of the Democrats would have set POTUS45 up as the overwhelming favorite for the 2024 nomination. The GOPe would rather poke their eardrums out than have that happen.

The game was rigged.

A rationalization to cover up the stealing. Independents broke 2 to 1 for the Republicans in reality. Every demographic moved significantly toward the Republican Party. It was a no win scenario for the democrats. Oops, one way win: cheating.

Yup, cheating is the way for the DemonRats to win.

Ever see what BLM, ANTIFA, etc. do when conservatives try to speak on college campuses? They (conservatives) get thrown out....and with FULL support of faculty/local-federal law enforcement.

The MSM is just a propaganda arm of the 'rat party, and while in the internet age they do not reach the audience they once had a monopoly over, they still matter, because it's so one-sided slanted to dem ideology.

A grand 'ole party with McConnell/McCarthy 'ole NEOCON ideals does not sell with the yutes, who've been public education brain-slammed with anti-conservative, anti-capitalism, anti-religion, anti-anything tradition, etc. since pre-school.

...so when given a choice between fiscal/moral responsibility(austerity) OR a free- sh t/free-for-all/do-your-own-thing....guess which one the heavily brain-fornicated are gonna choose?

Face it, the only message conservatives have to offer is...REALITY

...with a world of yutes living in LALA-land of human/fiscal irresponsibility....good luck with that.

Guess what I'm saying is...we cannot simply play their game, they OWN too much of it at this point.

Either they reach the utopia they've longed for("Hoist with his own petard" ending) ...or it all just collapses under the weight of all the bullshyst, and they are FORCED to surrender to...REALITY.

Any precinct that reports over 100% of registered voters will be automatically rejected outright. This is how the law should be written. What am I saying, we no longer have a rule of law.

three things in politics: money, people, the brains to know what to do with them.

gop is short of the third. like football or most anything, a good game plan is needed. quality of campaign manageris even more important than quality of candidate.

here in ga campaign manager of herschel walker needs to go into hiding.

The Following are Needed Voting Reforms

• Make Election Day a national holiday. Election Day voting only.

• Polls operate for 24 hours—midnight to midnight Eastern time—and open and shut simultaneously nationwide. Voters should not be swayed by results in states with earlier precinct closures.

• No more mass mail-in ballots. No ballot harvesting.

• Limit absentee ballots to the sick, infirm, and those who will be absent on Election Day. Must applied for in advance.

• Voters must show photo ID. Only adult U.S. citizens can vote.

• Paper ballots only, which must be maintained for a physical audit trail. No electronic vote selection, or storage on USB drives.

• Full chain of custody of ballots certified by representatives of all parties.

• No ballot counting without witnesses.

• All ballots must be counted within 24 hours. Election officials who fail are held accountable.

• Totals reported may not exceed ballots cast. Hand-audit until it does (fraud vitiates everything).

• Voter rolls must be cleaned frequently and by the registration deadline: two weeks before Election Day. If officials won’t clean out the fraud, crowdsource it with public voter rolls.

• To minimize the influence voting, the media should be discouraged from reporting of totals, “calling” races, or reporting projections based on election day exit polls before the votes are completely tallied on election night.

A rationalization to cover up the stealing.

Yep.

Just more of The Narrative.

They'll repeat it until WE'RE repeating it, in our sleep.

My friend has seen my Obama 2008 Vote Fraud Detection tool in action, and I explained to him that the Florida "results" were due to the Democrats pulling all their vote fraud troops out of the state to work elsewhere.

But he immediately repeated to me that the DeSantis people "stopped the vote fraud cold" in Florida.

He has Teevee, and I don't. :)

If you can wait in line for hours for a cheap TV on black Friday, you can vote in person.

Did they save the House? Ah....

Did they give the Democrats a majority over the Republicans
in the Senate? Ah...

At the present time, the Democrats have 48 members seated.
The Republicans have 49 seated.

Two non DNC/RNC members exist in the Senate, and they do
caucus and vote with the Democrats, but the Democrats
lost the majority using their own party members. Only due
to those two others and Vice President Yapping Twangjob,
Kamala SpareUs can they over-rule the Republicans at this
point.

If we win the run-off in Georgia, it’s a dead heat.

Only VP SpareUs could facilitate the Dems prevailing.
