One wonders, what if the forthcoming GOP-controlled House decides to investigate the doings of the Jan 6 Committee?

I guess Dems want it to be more about persecuting citizens about their protest. Unless they’re Dem-approved groups rioting.

Who gives a rat’s ass about the January 6th Committee? Cheney got challenged, and lost the primary because her constituents were angry that she spent her whole two years, not representing the people of Wyoming, but conducting her own personal vendetta against President Trump. I hope she’s miserable for the rest of her life.

Liz Cheney ideas are like your child no matter how bad they are you still love them.
Trump spelled her name wrong purposefully. Insulting by spelling as if Lon Chaney of horror movie fame, and added libel protection if she gets pissed off, since “ You’re So Vain, you think this (post) is about you”….
Maybe Liz will figure out that neither side loves a traitor.
It’s time for her to retire and take up some hobbies, like raising dozens of cats, or collecting junk mail, or making collages out of catalog pictures.
In other words, they wanted to smear the entire Republican party as insurrectionists. Cheney messed up their play.

That choice of words is enough to dispel any possibility the person being quoted had any "prestige". It's an admission that this person has little talent to discern reality on their own, and is no doubt much more lacking in distinction than ever having any real prestige.
Translation: The Dems have nothing on Trump, and deliberately excluded what really happened and why from their investigation, so they have a big gooseegg after all that noise and posturing. What to do...? OK, here’s the plan. Blame Cheney for betting the farm on Trump. Yeah, we woulda really nailed those J6’ers if only Cheney hadn’t forced us, forced I say, to focus everything on Trump.
Maybe no one will notice that the J6 Committee had lots of Pelosi-controlled Democrats on it, who excluded issues like: the reason citizens thought the 2020 election was fraudulent; the legal merits of what they were tryig to accomplish with State selection of Electors; Nancy Pelosi refusing Trump’s offer of National Guard; FBI operatives like Ray Epps; leftist agitators like the Tower Commander; Trump’s anti-violence/pro-Police tweets; the actual timeline of events; the fake bombs at RNC and DNC headquarters; Capital Police misconduct; including beating and shooting women to death; whether what happened was an attempt to overthrow the US government in any legal sense, a misguided attempt to preserve it, or just a spasm of frustration; etc., etc. Due to Cheney alone, they just didn’t have a minute for any of that stuff.
