Ukraine isn’t Russia’s business. They were fine, they were not a threat, but Putin’s ego wouldn’t allow it. Russia started the war. And we signed a treaty that said we’d come in against somebody starting a war there.

As you said, Putin’s ego will not allow stopping misery of Ukrainian people . Which then leads me to conclude, either Ukraine agree to Putin’s terms for ceasefire, or continue causing more suffering for Ukrainian people.
