A bartender at Club Q in Colorado Springs, Colo., said early Monday that he believes the gunman who committed a mass shooting there over the weekend was targeting the LGBTQ community.
During an appearance on “CNN This Morning,” Michael Anderson noted that the gunman came to one of only two gay clubs in the city.
“I don’t know what was wrong with this man,” Anderson said. “I don’t know why he needed to act in this way, but he obviously had some some feelings towards — I don’t know if it was transgender people, gays, lesbians, I don’t know — Club Q is a safe place for everybody, everybody in the spectrum of the rainbow.”
“So I don’t know who he was targeting, but I definitely feel that it was something aimed directly at my community, yet again another time in our country,” he continued.

Will he eat his words if he is wrong? And apologize?
Obviously not........................
So the guys mom was a member of the LGBT community? I have found zip about this guys views about sex-based identity politics, if there were blogs and posts full of hateful opinions, wouldn’t that have surfaced by now? Could this possibly be a garden variety nutcase off his meds?
We don’t know the ‘motive’, but LGBTQ neighbors I have had over the years were violently jealous and had the cops called more than once.
One gay guy neighbor had all his pickup trucks lights busted by a jealous boyfriend.................
No ID on the suspect = doesn’t fit the narrative.
So, as usual, the dishonest pieces of progressive excrement will milk the tragedy for a fe days of political advantage before the truth leaks out.
I do not condone violence, but LGBT targets children and the community, so why are they shocked they get targeted back?
No this is a Hate Crime™️
So it was aimed at your”community” and you’re sure it was hatred but then you state you don’t know what was wrong with the perp. Now, go fix a shirley temple will ya “x-spurt”.
“”yet again another time in our country,””
According to Biden, mass shootings happen every day in the US.
You don’t know how this works... narrative, not facts matter...
All I know is everywhere I looked last night, the news feeds were filled with alphabet groups in other cities speaking out about the shooting. Blah blah blah.
I don’t know if it was transgender people, gays, lesbians, I don’t know — Club Q is a safe place for everybody, everybody in the spectrum of the rainbow.”
“So I don’t know who he was targeting,
If you have to jump to a conclusion this would be the obvious one to jump to.
If he’s wrong, he’s wrong, but if you were there, would you really say anything different?
I can’t find a single photo of the shooter. Usually not more than a day elapses before we get pics of whoever did it. Why...?
As a side note: In the 1970s/80s, we would get in trouble with the cops for running all-ages concerts. Yeah, a lot of the kids would get in trouble at the concert (snork!) but it was music only. No nekkidness, no twerking, just good old-fashioned brutal mosh pit stuff.
But people really got upset with us for running all-ages shows. (Note: One guy who played the drums for us first saw the band when he was like 15, LOL, and they were letting kids into a show we did at a 21 bar. He was like “OMG IT WAS A TURNING POINT IN MY LIFE!!!!!!”)
Anyway, how things have changed.
Anybody who thinks that shooting a bunch of people who are just partying is, of course, a psycho nut case and needs to be locked up.
Nobody deserves to die in a mass shooting. (Except maybe a guy like A Fauci, but some malign force always keeps evil c0ckwads like that safe.)
That being said, stuff like “all ages drag show” is not going to ingratiate you to the public in general. If LGBTXYZ cared about their “movement” or how they are regarded by people who don’t share their views, they would stop going after kids.
I know a few people personally who were abused/turned out by LGBTXYZ. These people are typically full of rage and screwed up to the point they cannot function normally, and are most often a danger to themselves and others.
If you want non-XYZ folks to sympathize with you, stop going after their kids.
I’m starting to wonder how it is that all of society has turned into everyone’s unpaid therapist.
This was a horrible event and the gunman was mentally sick long before it happened. However, I speculate that unless the LGB community clearly and deliberately separate themselves from Transgender groups, this kind of violence will continue and will spread
Trans groups are being associated with groomers and Pedos. When you keep going with these Drag Queen story hours as though nothing is wrong with it, you are figuratively lighting a fuse.
This guy brought in a rifle, not a handgun.
Doesn’t that place have a doorman???
There is a fundamental divide between homosexuals and transgenders. It’s politically incorrect to say that they don’t like each other, but to a large extent, they don’t like each other.
A homosexual will say “God made me this way”. They don’t mean that in a really religious way, but they believe they were born to be who they are. They will say they cannot change. They would be very offended if you suggested a medical professional, such as a therapist, might be able to “fix” them. They don’t need fixing. If society expects them to change into something “more acceptable”, then society is going to be disappointed. They’re loud and they’re proud.
A transgender will tell you that God screwed up. God may have made them female, but inside they know better: they know that they are male. They want to change. They deserve to change. They expect medical professionals to step in and fix them. That is their right. They will change in front of your eyes and they expect society to welcome their transition from what they were to what they should be.
Fundamentally different world-views that conflict with each other. You can’t say “both are correct” without a whole lot of cognitive dissonance.
“Club Q bartender: Shooting was ‘aimed directly at my community’”
Why would someone hate the bartender community?
