The coming years of heavy taxes, along with the inflation and rising mortgage rates we face, are not caused by some unstoppable force of nature. Nor is the wild rise in energy prices.
All these things are the direct result of government actions. They did not need to happen. I have warned against them all. And yet there is no political party, not even a minority group in Parliament, that has been remotely interested in such warnings. The whole House of Commons thinks in unison.
On every subject where it could have been right, or even divided, it has been unanimously wrong.

I hear you. I truly believe that by the end of the decade, they will simply have confiscated whatever money they want, so in other words—whats the point of saving?
All of this mass tuition-debt forgiveness is nothing more then a prerequisite for mass bank-account emptying in the name of whatever crisis/scam they can concoct.
If I didn’t have children that still need me, I’d certainly follow a more “enjoy it now while you can” mindset.
I realistically need about 8-10 more solid years before I can say the nest is on it’s own

We can blame most of that on the Climate Change crowd.
We can't trust science to tell us the truth about climate change because science has long since been infected with politics. Science is only used to confirm what those who fund it believe/want/need to be true.
True science is now nothing but bias confirmation.

The mass student loan debt forgiveness is more about subsidizing the higher education cartel here (as wary Americans are more hesitant to borrow tens of thousands to learn how to perform increasingly non-existent jobs).
The inflation is far worse, by devaluing your money, forcing people to work more, even “un-retiring” people. Savings means little if the government can simply adjust its value down by half on a whim.
