Meet the Globalist Billionaires Behind the Presidential Ambitions of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis
Big League Politics ^ | Nov 16, 2022 | Shane Trejo

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is backed by many globalist billionaires at war against America First, and they will certainly be cashing in their favors if DeSantis decides to run for president.

A Twitter user, calling themselves Traditional Catholic, posted an informative thread about the people behind DeSantis. It is a who’s who of America Last financiers who see DeSantis as their vessel to derail Trump populism and return the GOP to the feeble politics of old.

“”60% of Ron DeSantis’ donations have come from donations of $50,000 or more. 54% of Donald Trump’s donations have come from donations of less than $200. Just 6% of these donations went to DeSantis. Ron DeSantis is backed by billionaires and the establishment,” Traditional Catholic wrote.

He highlighted venture capitalist Ken Griffin, who has given an incredible $5 million to DeSantis. Griffin is a fierce opponent of America First policies and does not like DeSantis’ populist moves as Florida governor. Still, Griffin thinks he can control DeSantis if he is able to defeat Trump and be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024.

Ken Griffin is Ron DeSantis’ biggest donor. He has donated $5,000,000 to DeSantis. He is the founder of Citadel Capital, yes, THAT Citadel the multibillion dollar Wall Street firm that was the main target of the GameStop short squeeze. Also pressured robinhood to stop GME trading pic.twitter.com/xqPnPEWLD5

— Traditional Catholic 🇷🇺 (@daddy38456) November 15, 2022

Ken Griffin also stated in 2017 that he was "terrified" about the political hardline against immigrants in the US. He also disagreed with DeSantis' move to fly nearly 50 Venezuelan migrants from Texas to Martha's Vineyard.

— Traditional Catholic 🇷🇺 (@daddy38456) November 15, 2022

WeatherTech founder David MacNeil also gave $800,000 to DeSantis, and his biggest issue is giving amnesty to illegal immigrants. He opposed Trump in 2020 because of Trump’s immigration patriot stance on stopping illegal immigration.

He also stated he’s worried that top staffers at his company could face deportation if DACA is dismantled. This is a pro-illegal immigration billionaire. He donated $800,000 to Ron DeSantis. Will DeSantis really go against a top donor in regards to immigration?

— Traditional Catholic 🇷🇺 (@daddy38456) November 15, 2022

Wall Street hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones is a billionaire DeSantis backer who has given $1 million to the Florida governor. He is a close friend of convicted Democrat sex offender Harvey Weinstein and helped to fundraise for Barack Hussein Obama back in 2008.

Big League Politics reported on how DeSantis implemented authoritarian lockdown tyranny during the COVID-19 pandemic:

A common trope from supporters of the likely presidential run of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is that he stopped COVID lockdowns in his state during the height of the pandemic while President Donald Trump was pushing them from the White House.

But the record shows that this is not what occurred. DeSantis used his authority as governor to enforce lockdowns, shuttering businesses, and use the power of the state to punish noncompliance with his edicts.

Video from June 2020 shows DeSantis threatening bars with revoking their liquor licenses unless they abided by his arbitrary restrictions enacted supposedly in the name of science:

Additionally, pastors were arrested and thrown in jail because they held services during DeSantis’ lockdown. The DeSantis administration grotesquely infringed upon religious liberty and made a mockery of the 1st Amendment during the pandemic:

DeSantis, like Trump, has shilled hard for the experimental COVID-19 vaccines as well, assuring the public that they were safe for usage and would stop transmission when that turned out to be a lie.

“If you’re vaccinated and you test positive but you don’t get sick, well the name of the game is to keep people out of the hospital,” DeSantis said in July 2021. “Seventy-five percent of Floridians over the age of 50 have gotten shots, so we think that’s really, really positive.”

“If you are vaccinated, fully vaccinated, the chance of you getting seriously ill or dying from COVID is effectively zero,” he said. “If you look at the people that are being admitted to hospitals, over 95% of them are either not fully vaccinated or not vaccinated at all. And so these vaccines are saving lives. They are reducing mortality.”

There are too many problems with DeSantis for him to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024. He needs to stay in Florida so Trump can remedy his unfinished business on a national level in 2024.

Trump is running in '24. Desantis will get crushed if he tries to go against Trump.

I predict that you will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.

Get used to the idea.

Where else are you going to go?

I used to want DeoSanctus to run in ‘28. Now I don’t want him run at all. Ever.

Legitimate concerns except for the vax stuff. Trump helped create the vaccines by inviting Big Pharma into the White House with Warp Speed, and still won’t admit he was wrong.

one guy in new jersey wrote: “Pence going limp, and failing to throw a totally justified constitutional fit, sealed disappointed Trump’s fate in ‘21 and ensured that brain-addled Biden would become Prexy.”

Stop and think for a minute.
Do you really want the VP to have the power to determine which electoral votes count and which do not?
If the VP had that power, Biden would have ensured Hillary as President in 2016.

one guy in new jersey wrote: “The federal goverr nment must rein in the states when it comes to the election of members of the federal congressional HoR and Senate, VPOTUS, and POTUS.”

So, now you want to tear up the Constitution? You do know the Constitution gives unlimited powers to the states on running their elections and selecting things like who representst them in Congress and their electors? I thought it was only democrats who wanted to federalize the elections.

one guy in new jersey wrote: “This means we keep throwing the Bad Orange Man at the quadrennial Republican convention every four years without fail until they get off their fat duffs and go about fixing the problem that Mclellan-like Pence in his effeminate weakness blew off in 2021.”

Nothing like hitting yourself in the face to prove a point. That’s exactly what that amounts too. And endless parade of democrat presidents until you get your un-Constitutional way.

Dugway, this post above all exposes you as some kind of troll...Not sure who you are working for, but we all need side gigs right?

Trump lost 5 Times???? Sheesh!!!

As I and many other people who actually read the Constitution, the POPULAR VOTE is not what elects presidents...

BTW, Just whose side are you on????

Seriously...all Trump’s fault???...You sound like MSNBC!!!

Trump is running, who on this planet is more MAGA than Trump? Please list the other MAGA candidates...yeah with their the big anti-MAGA donors

Again, why are you here?

This is rhetorical...

No need to respond. You are clearly who you are...Good luck to you and your globalist supporters.

I’ve found that when some are incapable of properly responding to a logical argument, they resort to calling the other a troll. They cannot accept the fact that some one can have a different opinion. That other person must be working for someone because no one could belive that unless they are being paid.

Freedom56v2 wrote: “No need to respond. You are clearly who you are...Good luck to you and your globalist supporters.”

You need to pay attention to what the voters have told you. Trump is destined to lose again. You sound like you want to re-elect Biden and Kamala.

BTW, there is as much evidence that your are a democrat troll working for the re-elect Biden committee as there is that i’m working for the globalists.

OK Dug, fine... I will retract that I called you a troll, you are just on a very different path than many here...You like to present a differing view...Stir up trouble? Fine. But I call it as I see it.

You do not exercise logic, nor do you reflect the view of the majority of logical thinkers here who do not support the clot shots or Faux MAGA supporters.

It is Friday nite; enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The Club remained furious and vowed to remove the disrupter we sent into the boardroom.

And still doing it people better keep a heads up if they want change or get the same with a new name.

Note that the Federal Constitution does not specify the the VPOTUS’s 1/6 role is strictly ministerial.

Nor does it preclude him from leaning on a given state whose process for selecting the slate of electors pledged to this or that POTUS candidate stinks to high heaven.

The sitting VPOTUS should do this, if morally certain that fraud has taken place, by (1) refusing immediately (or seasonably, after objections are heard and considered) to certify those electoral votes submitted by that state, (2) demanding adequate and immediate accountability commensurate with the issues raised, and (3) hold out the real potential for the candidate in question to suffer the ultimate penalty of having those objected-to votes declared void, and the 50+ percent required Electoral Vote tally adjusted to reflect the total exclusion of that state’s votes from the POTUS and VPOTUS electoral college contest.

Watch the first state embarrassed in this way to get religion in no more than one electoral heartbeat. That state will render its state-level federal election processes pure as the wind-driven snow, and thereby make its quadrennial Electoral College vote tally submissions bulletproof, and thereby legally and (perhaps most importantly) politically unassailable by a sitting VPOTUS of the opposite political party than that of the POTUS candidate said by the SOS of that state to have prevailed in that state.

“MAGA isn’t Trump and Trump isn’t MAGA. MAGA is bigger than Trump.”

MAGA never existed until Trump. I think you are a paid RINO/Establishment troll and should be shunned by Freepers as the disruptor that you intentionally are. You are obviously getting off on this; enjoying yourself way too much. In other words a creep that we should avoid.

Another example of FR taking a turn for the worse when it comes to clientele. Trump didn’t lose the 2020 election; it was stolen. And if you can’t figure that out, you really don’t want, to because you don’t like Trump and have an ax to grind. Just another anti-Trumper with a bad intention, like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger whose mold you fit. Go post on DU where you belong.

“Solid but for some reason some on FR are frothing at the mouth over him...lol”

Because if he runs against Trump it will be with financial backing of RINO/Establishment financiers, anti-Trumpers, Bushbots and others who hate Trump because he went up against their corporate interests and elitist ideology. The Club. They are already pouring money into his campaign coffers.

There would not have been a Gov DeSantis without Trump’s endorsement and appearances on his behalf when he first ran for FL Gov. DeSantis was losing in the polls and Trump’s backing pushed him over the goal line; DeSantis won by a minuscule amount of the vote against a Commie/Socialist opponent.

DeSantis thank goodness he won, has been a great Gov. However he is keeping bad financial company in order to advance his presidential ambitions and had better be very careful as to what bedfellows he chooses to sleep with for money. It is also considered bad form to run against the man that basically got you over the finish line in your election in order to pursue further office at Trump’s expense. Kind of like sticking the shiv in.

I read all the comments. Some really good ones regardless of who folks support.

But I have a question regarding the 2022 election and what will happen in 2024 and beyond, especially since Pennsylvanians and Michigan, no longer being ‘battle ground states’ since the Democrats now 100% control them.

Fetterman received over 900k votes before anyone noticed.

So……

How do any of you think ANY Republican can win if the Democrat, whoever it is, is guaranteed to win: California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, New Mexico, Michigan, Illinois, NY, NH, Vermont, Maine, Mass, RI, Conn, NJ, Delaware, Maryland, DC…..and unless Lake somehow wins, Arizona…and Georgia is still a toss up since they didn’t really do much about the fraud mechanisms and Kemp is doing his level best to turn Georgia BLUE, anyway.

I don’t know what the math is, but the Democrat already had a sizable lead, waking up in the morning.

And please don’t talk to me about Kemp beating Abrams. Abrams was cannon fodder as long as Warnock gets elected to a 6 year term, which is likely. So, given that kemp is already working toward Democrat goals to turn Georgia BLUE, maintaining the Senate is more important.

The vaccines don’t work. They were a Big Pharma con, and dangerous to healthy people, whereas COVID is not and never was.

Trump was played by Big Pharma. What is so wrong with admitting a mistake?

Sounds like you believe in ‘emanating penumbras’.

one guy in new jersey wrote: “The sitting VPOTUS should do this, if morally certain that fraud has taken place, by (1) refusing immediately (or seasonably, after objections are heard and considered) to certify those electoral votes submitted by that state, (2) demanding adequate and immediate accountability commensurate with the issues raised, and (3) hold out the real potential for the candidate in question to suffer the ultimate penalty of having those objected-to votes declared void, and the 50+ percent required Electoral Vote tally adjusted to reflect the total exclusion of that state’s votes from the POTUS and VPOTUS electoral college contest.”

It’s 6 Jan 2017. Congress meets in Joint Session to count the votes of the 2016 election. The sitting VPOTUS, Joe Biden, being morally certain that fraud had taken place as alleged by the Clinton campaign, (1) refused immediately to certify the electoral votes submitted by certain states (2) demanded adequate and immediate accountability commensurate with the issues raised (disparities between exit polls and final results, reports of foreign interferrence, etc.), and (3) upon receiving that accountability he deemed conclusive required the Electoral Vote tally adjusted to reflect the total exclusion of those state’s votes from the POTUS and VPOTUS electoral college contest resulting in an electoral win for Hillary Clinton.

one guy in new jersey wrote: “Watch the first state embarrassed in this way to get religion in no more than one electoral heartbeat. The democrats, claiming vindication, ensured no changes were made to the electoral process and an endless stream of democrat election victories. VP Tim Kane consequently ensured the election of a Democratic ticket in 2020 and 2024 citing fruad and Russian collusion by the Trump campaigns. None other than Democrats have since been elected since Bush in 2004.
