Perhaps not coincidently, the UK Universities are leaders in promoting global warming and climate change.

My ‘all-in’ price for electricity in Florida that includes all taxes and fees is 14.7 cents per KWH.

The British Pound is currently 1.20 to the US dollar, so the European households are paying about 3 times what I pay.

On the bright side, Ukrainians aren’t paying anything for their electricity.

The UK’s Deep State is making its citizenry pay for Brexit.

Ours is making us pay for electing Trump. Twice.

Note to the UK: You lot need to wake up and smell the tea. You have the same problem we do. But you don’t have a Trump standing between you and your Deep State.

And you need one.

Desperately.

Here is a study comparing prices from February of 2022, an Australian source.

When I was in Australia a few years ago, the energy prices seemed much higher than indicated.

I was not in a position to see data, other than what I observed locally.

The EUs economy needs reasonably priced Russian oil to function. Without it you have a Woke mess. Lay these bills at the feet of the politicians and their insane Russiaphobia.

Yeah, but, but a lot of it is “green” electricity so you are paying for the good “feels”.

Norway is the country with by far the biggest increase in electricity prices worldwide.

Isn't Norway one of the top hydro producers?

Paying 31.5 cents per kwh in NH.

It is tough living among idiots who just voted the Democrats who did this to us back into power.

“””Norway is the country with by far the biggest increase in electricity prices worldwide.

Yes, Norway has a lot of mountains and a lot of rain and thus produces a lot of hydroelectricity. Plus Norway has a lot of natural gas.

The Norwegian government is screwing the households by making the citizens pay current market rates for electricity so the citizens can be good socialists and share the wealth with others in Europe.

My Norwegian friends are mad!!!!

Are you guys counting all charges, supplier fees, taxes, etc.? I have a “quoted rate”, but if I actually divide my actual “Amount due” from my electric bill by the kWH used for the billing period, over the past three months my average cost is around 37 cents per kWH. In SE Pennsylvania.

FERC chairman Richard Glick voted in support of the project despite reservations about the project’s environmental effects, which include 3.5mn metric tonnes/yr in projected greenhouse gas emissions* from running equipment needed to chill and compress natural gas into LNG.

Meaning they really don’t care about climate change, only the ‘indulgences’ they create.
* what’s todays price of a tonne of greenhouse gas?
