Five U.S. border agents were shot, including one fatally, during an altercation with drug smugglers off the coast of Puerto Rico early Thursday morning, the Washington Examiner has learned.
The shoot-out happened 14 miles off the coast of northwestern Puerto Rico. First responders surged resources to the island to life-flight agents to hospitals.

As a neutral observer - you have it backwards - if you re-read your initial post it sounds totally sarcastic. Implying that you’re not surprised that “Puerto Ricans” did it. I read your response exactly as cll did.
Sounds more like they were using the wrong kind of boat. I’d choose something that prickled with armament.
