ABC legal analyst Sunny Hostin told her co-hosts Wednesday on “The View” that she thinks former President Donald Trump will likely be indicted in the next 90 days.
Discussing Trump’s 2024 announcement, Hostin asked, “Shall we chat about the big house?”
She continued, “That’s what I think this is all about, right? Any private citizen can be indicted for a crime. You do not have the protection of the presidency. He’s got two years to run.”

New Congress is in session starting January 3, 2023. DOJ indicting Trump within 90 days is off the table IMHO. DOJ has enough Congressional investigations on the way without throwing another log on the fire.

No way Trump gets charged anytime soon. The Dems aren’t going to play the indictment card now. They’ll hold it close to their chest and play it at a time when it would be most advantageous, if that time ever comes.

Strategically, this might make some sense, but I think you are not accounting for two powerful factors here.
First; T.D.S. makes people irrational. It’s like an ultra-powerful trolling in their heads that never stops. They want him gone.
Second: The insular nature of D.C. These people are surrounded by others with TDS. They all think it’s a valiant cause to go after him.
