Top GOP senator: Time to 'bury' Republican Party
WND ^ | 11/14/2022 | Art Moore

With more than 7 in 10 voters stating in an exit poll last Tuesday that they were "dissatisfied" or "angry" about the way things were going in the country, Republicans were expecting a "red wave" or even a "red tsunami" in which the party would retake the House with a substantial majority and the Senate with as many as 54 or 55 seats.

That didn't happen, and Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri said Monday it's time to "bury" the old Republican Party and "build something new."

Real President Trump can make this happen. Just need to do it in a way that leads to success for the new party. Republicans need to reject the fraud election system we have or we need leaders who will stand up for the citizens they represent.

If the wimpy, insider favoring GOP goes then we would have to do without the sabotage of our conservative values, failure to honor our important reasons for voting (we will end Obamacare the first days) and doing so much compromising they look like Progressives themselves.

Let’s try it. It was what Trumpism and MAGA were all about in 2016.

Trump should have gone third party after the last election. He gambled that he and MAGA could takeover the GOP. He never guessed that the Republican establishment would go all in with the Democrats on rigging elections.

I'd rather be in a principled minority than a party run by the likes of the Bushes, Romneys, McCains and McConnells.

Josh Hawley is right. The Republican party is dead.

The Republican party is beyond reform. We even have a sitting Senator saying so.

The Dems put world renowned Ballot Harvester, Keith X, in charge of their party years ago.

His Ballot harvesting skills even work at gettting America Hating. Sibling Marrying Jihadi sypmathsizers permanent seats in Congress.

While the Republicans put a Romney in charge of the party, put their fingers in their ears and go “lallallallallallallalla”

What, maybe have a Republican Party that’s is not just a stalking horse and/or collaborator with the Democrat aka Socialist Party destroying this nation? What a shocking concept. (This is me agreeing with you.)

BTW to the “elites,” the R or D after their names for most is just a Halloween costume. All they care about is themselves with a few rare exceptions.

Why they hated Trump (admittedly imperfect) so much - he was not part of the Uniparty.

I still maintain that part of why they hate Trump, is that
he nails them right between the eyes with truth.

They weren’t going to let a non-career political figure
come in and clean things up. It would have been an
indictment of their decades long shenanigans.

They went on defense, then attack, and never stopped.

No offense, but that’s delusional. If Trump had formed a third party after 2016, he would have been impeached and convicted within a week.

“bury” the old Republican Party and “build something new.”

I think the Senator was not talking about a new party, just a different direction for the party.

In the past Democrats were the equivalent of the British Labor Party, Republicans more like Tories.

That dynamic is gone, even in unions. Union bosses are still Dems but the rank-and-file are Republicans.

Trump and some new Republicans realize supporting management over labor is an old way of thinking. Republicans will represent the working and middle class from now on, regardless of race. That was the genius of Trump, even though it was as obvious as dog balls to anyone paying attention.

(Don’t tell Mitch, his shell will explode. The Chamber of Commerce says this. The Chamber said that. The Chamber, the Chamber, the Chamber.)

The Dems are the party of the ultra rich and ultra poor. That’s why they are hell bent on making more poor people who are dependent on government while enriching their rich buddies.

Let Josh Hawley do it.

The Republican party is a joke. We have a third-world election system and massive voter fraud with the consent of the Republican establishment.

As Michael Brown's father said, "Burn this bitch to the ground."

Let's descend into communism. I'll take my chances with secession, a civil war or getting out of the country.

You're a fool if you think voting Republican will make any difference at all after the past elections.

The Republican establishment would rather allow rampant voter than do what the base wants.

Trump won a landslide in 2020. So, did Kari Lake this election cycle.

It's too late even if the Republican party somehow became principled because too many states now have cheat by mail, drop boxes and ballot harvesting. We've seen the last Republican President.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again. The system is rigged. You can't win a rigged game.

Yeah, because having Bill Clinton for two terms was the
best outcome we could have wished for.

This comes up every general election. Ah, if we could only
go third party. You feel that way. Under perfect
conditions I might also, but the populace is so far behind
us in understanding, that you wouldn’t get near the numbers
you think you would.

We’d split the vote, and someone else on the Democrat side
would celebrate on election night. No!

It isn’t the GOP theories that are wrong. It’s the obvious misapplication of them by politicians put in positions they are unable to handle. So don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater. Throw out the person throwing it out. If you’re not for us...
