Earlier this month, former President Trump said that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) should be impeached if he backs a plan for the debt ceiling to be eliminated over fears that House Republicans could cause the U.S. to default on the nation’s credit.
When asked by conservative radio host John Fredericks about chatter surrounding the possibility of Congress effectively eliminating the debt limit, the former president lambasted the idea.
On Sunday, following the Democrat’s win and maintaining Senate control, Trump went on the attack.
“It’s Mitch McConnell’s fault. Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake,” Trump said Sunday. “Giving 4 Trillion Dollars to the Radical Left for the Green New Deal, not Infrastructure, was an even bigger mistake. He blew the Midterms, and everyone despises him and his otherwise lovely wife, Coco Chow.”
With Democrats maintaining Senate control, this keeps the path open for Biden to have his judicial and administrative appointments confirmed, even if the Republicans take the House majority.
Control of the US House still hangs in the balance and may not be determined for some time with ballots left to be counted in closely contested races in California, as well as other states.
On Saturday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said at a press conference, “The race is now called in Arizona and Nevada. Democrats will have a majority in the Senate and I will once again be Majority Leader. This election is a victory. A victory and a vindication for Democrats, our agenda for America, and for the American people, There are three things that helped the Senate secure the majority. One, our terrific candidates, two, our agenda and our accomplishments and three the American people rejected, the anti-democratic extremist MAGA Republicans.”

YES!!! Trump is “over the target”
I did. It's absolutely ludicrous, which is why I made the comment I did.
Or perhaps they just realize it will lose him votes in a general election in which we will need every last one to have a chance of winning.
Thank you, Jim.
F Trump whilst you’re at it.
Tip O' Neill had to pretend to be a "moderate" at least some of the time.
Pelosi is free to let out her inner Marxist all the time.
But be not deceived: Under the skin, they were exactly the same.
Are you that obtuse?
ROFL!!!
Purges are a Stalinist thing.
Covfefe you say!

Who TF are you to call anyone out you dumb party hack? You rinos are about to eat our dust and it will be permanent. You will never win an election without US. I want to see you call JimRob out. He's posted on this thread in support of Trump. Call him out coward.
You are an idiot.
Agreed.
Trump is a racist and that’s not ok. We have to dump him.
These days far too many people strive, in as much as 'strive' can be used to describe it, to live their lives just like that.
The leader under whom mail in ballots were green lighted is keeping it classy. No one wants more masking, lockdowns, pharma bullies, endless spending, caravan of migrants, bumpstock bans…
He was still shrilling for vaxxes after stepping down. He single handily gave the dems complete control. No one in their right mind wants another four years of that.
His foreign policy, except caving on the border, was exceptional.
He has never come put to support those who were fired due to vax mandates… because deep down, he believes in them. Now our medical and military complex has been purged in to submission to the dems.
