Earlier this month, former President Trump said that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) should be impeached if he backs a plan for the debt ceiling to be eliminated over fears that House Republicans could cause the U.S. to default on the nation’s credit.
When asked by conservative radio host John Fredericks about chatter surrounding the possibility of Congress effectively eliminating the debt limit, the former president lambasted the idea.
On Sunday, following the Democrat’s win and maintaining Senate control, Trump went on the attack.
“It’s Mitch McConnell’s fault. Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake,” Trump said Sunday. “Giving 4 Trillion Dollars to the Radical Left for the Green New Deal, not Infrastructure, was an even bigger mistake. He blew the Midterms, and everyone despises him and his otherwise lovely wife, Coco Chow.”
With Democrats maintaining Senate control, this keeps the path open for Biden to have his judicial and administrative appointments confirmed, even if the Republicans take the House majority.
Control of the US House still hangs in the balance and may not be determined for some time with ballots left to be counted in closely contested races in California, as well as other states.
On Saturday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said at a press conference, “The race is now called in Arizona and Nevada. Democrats will have a majority in the Senate and I will once again be Majority Leader. This election is a victory. A victory and a vindication for Democrats, our agenda for America, and for the American people, There are three things that helped the Senate secure the majority. One, our terrific candidates, two, our agenda and our accomplishments and three the American people rejected, the anti-democratic extremist MAGA Republicans.”

many.. Why is he not tweeting about
the many days it’s taking dems to
count ballots. Don’t go after

I would think his sons Eric and Don Jr would be advising him. Maybe his son in law Jared and daughter Ivanka. But apparently he's not listening to anybody.

Speaking for myself, it did bother me back then. I also hoped he’d grow out of it. What makes it even worse now is that he’s attacking people who aren’t even running against him yet Hell, he’s attacking them before he’s even a declared candidate himself.
He is severely lacking in those areas. His pride just might make him run on a third party ticket. Kind of like Teddy Roosevelt on the Bull Moose Party.

It always bothered some of us
that he launched that level
of attack against his republican
opponents. He could have done
better in 2020, had he not let
his ego get in the way, despite
the cheating. Hard to defend
the man when he carry’s on
like a 3 year old having a temper
