Several political pundits on Twitter are fighting about whether ousted GOP Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney should earn votes to be the speaker of the House if Democrats maintain control of the lower chamber.
Jennifer Rubin, a Washington Post columnist, tweeted that she's sold on the idea of Cheney becoming House speaker.
"OK, I'm sold. Liz Cheney for Speaker," Rubin tweeted on Friday.

Why ugly up a tree...?
It will be gridlock and chaos for 5he next 2 years, as we prepare for the big one in 24.
I suppose that for some there is certain appeal for Psycho Bitches being at the Helm.
Who are the hard-core never Trumpers left?
What again? Some Dems want Liz to be their Speaker of the House? If you want her, take her! She’s all yours.
If they are hoping the GOP would be so stupid, I hope they’re wrong. Nothing is that certain these strange days.
HARD EVIDENCE Liz Cheney is a liar and a traitor - Rumble video 3:05
The Ukraine Nazi supporting gang.
Problem is though, if you get the majority of Dems to vote
for her and the minority of idiot RINOs to, you run into a
situation where’s she’s voted in.
They know how to cheat during the election and they know how to troll after the win.
Itās true, you donāt have to be a Member.
And after all 435 Members have said they donāt want itā¦
Speaking of Psycho Bitches, what of Speaker Nancyās thoughts on this?
Thank you. It was interesting where they mentioned that other
commentary on who would be nominated.
They would have the ability to pick a leader from among
their members or some such.
Still, it wasn’t written that way in the Constitution, and
being a strictly legalistic person, folks could easily make
the case anyone could be selected, from the House members
or not.
The House Dems already spoke to Kevin McCarthy about this on Wednesday. It’s real.
Wonderful.
Our crew just DOES NOT have their head in the game.
You’re welcome.
It’s interesting due to never having occurred in history.
“Our crew just DOES NOT have their head in the game.”

The fact that such a possibility is not immediately mocked by the GOP shows that it is one big party...a Uni-party, and we aren’t invited to be a part of it.
Cheney was renounced decidedly by her own State’s voters. To have such a thing even considered is a slap in the face to conservatives. They are no longer even pretending to hide their dislike for us.
Also, are they STILL pretending Rubin is some type of conservative voice?
True.
Sadly it comes at a bad time right now.
I hope we don’t skid off into the ditch over this.
Liz Cheney or another ringer would present a terrible
situation.
You’re right on target there IMO. I agree with you.
What a slap to the face of her state’s voters, in that they
wanted her out of the House, and instead others want her to
lead it.
Tell me that isn’t just an in-your-face move.
I can’t imagine most Democrats want/trust Cheney.
That might not mean anything with some arm twisting and some bribes.
