The Uniparty has to find a way to reward their minions such as Liz Cheney who collaborated with Democrats along with other RINOs to steal the election of 2020.They're already set to do that for Cheney with a fat lobbying job just like they gave to Boehner, Ryan, and the other GOPe loozars. It's all about the money both sides can get to flow into DC and more RAT control means even more money coming in as corporations will be increasingly desperate to get their protected part of legislation. That doesn't come cheap, ya know.

Evidently you don’t have to be a member of the House to be Speaker.
You don't. Right after the 2020 elections, there were even calls for Trump to be appointed House Speaker if the Republicans won it in 2022.
