An LGBTQ advocacy group sued the Department of Defense and the Army on Thursday over a policy barring HIV-positive individuals from enlisting in the military.
Lambda Legal, a civil rights organization that focuses on the LGBTQ community and those living with HIV/AIDS, filed the lawsuit on behalf of several individuals it says either were denied entry into the Army over their HIV-positive status or left the Army following their diagnosis and are seeking to return.
The case follows a landmark ruling in April that ordered the Pentagon to end its practice of blocking enlisted service members from deploying outside the U.S. or being commissioned as officers.

I would suspect their livers have been compromised and as a result cannot physically compete with a healthy liver.
Many blood born viruses live in the liver and jam up the filtration system, which can lead into hyperportal tension where the blood bypasses the liver and does not get cleansed.
Thusly, the system is compromised and will lose in one on one physical combat.
Also, dirty blood is dirty blood.
The battlefield is no place to be spreading bio hazards.
I can answer that,
If they were sent to the front lines they would then file suit that they were being sent "because they had HIV."
They are destined to be a "pain in the A$$"... which is how that got HIV in the first place!
We could fill the ranks if drug addicts were allowed in while maintains their medicated needs.
But HIV has a sacred status it seems.
They can’t have it both ways.
This is great for morale. Force medics and comrades to question wether or not they pressing down on a wound will get them aids.
I’ve posted this information so many times, but apparently MSM still is ignoring this important information. HIV infection causes premature aging of 14 years, although recent articles say 5 years, with no medical studys cited. HIV’s premature aging happens even when treated with antiretrovirals. The cost of HIV drugs and treatments are sky high, so, it makes sense for the military to not allow them to enlist. But, if this suit succeeds then the military will have to allow diabetics to enlist, let asthmatics to enlist, along with every other medical condition that is used to weed out recruits that will cost the military a lot of money to treat. The real reason these folks want to enlist is so that they get their meds and treatments for free.
Ha! the USA already accepts and glorifies them.
Only the US Military has SOME restrictions on enlistment.
As far as going to Russia, Russia does not accept them to general society nearly as much as the USA, and Americans particularly are not welcome in Russia now.
