RUSSIAN OFFENSIVE CAMPAIGN ASSESSMENT, NOVEMBER 11
ISW ^ | Nov 11, 2022 | Karolina Hird, Grace Mappes, Riley Bailey, Kateryna Stepanenko, and Frederick W. Kagan

Ukrainian forces are completing the liberation of the western (right) bank of Kherson Oblast after the Russians retreated from it. The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) claimed that Russian forces completed the withdrawal to the eastern (left) bank of the Dnipro River at 5am local time on November 11.[1] While contingents of Russian soldiers likely remain on the west bank, they are likely scattered throughout the Oblast and attempting to retreat as Ukrainian forces push towards the Dnipro River, although some may have remained behind to attempt to conduct partisan activities in small groups. It is unclear how many Russian soldiers remain on the west bank at this time. Russian sources noted that the withdrawal lasted three days and claimed that 20,000 Russian personnel and 3,500 units of military equipment moved across the Dnipro River.[2]

Satellite imagery corroborates statements made by both Ukrainian and Russian sources that Russian troops destroyed the Antonivsky Bridge and Railway Bridge (near Kherson City) and the Nova Kakhovka dam bridge (east of Kherson City near Nova Kakhovka) over the Dnipro River and the Darivka Bridge (northeast of Kherson City) over the Inhulets River in a final attempt to block Ukrainian advances towards central Kherson Oblast (see images in-line with text).[3] Geolocated satellite imagery also indicates that Russian troops have prepared first and second lines of defense south of the Dnipro River and will likely continue efforts to consolidate positions on the left bank in the coming days.[4]

Nope, sure didn’t, but what it does do is illustrate the utter hypocrisy of you moronic idiots putting forth the BS argument that the elections of the four regions to join Russia was illegitimate or along those BS lines.

I find satellite pics fascinating, anyway. We are lucky to live at a time when this “open source” information is becoming available to civilians. This is the first real war, in fact, when these have become available through civilian satellites. That in itself is historic.

Open your mind and think about what you are seeing. Add to that, that you yourself can commission a satellite view of something. What power!

Granted, perhaps it takes an imagination and fundamental curiosity to be so fascinated with this stuff.

Any election that produces such returns of 90% plus is guaranteed “cooked”.

Big problem with your posts is you never actually setup a logical point. Point A never leads to a Point B or Point C. How does name dropping Serbia make us hypocrites for rejecting the obviously fraudulent votes put forth by the Russian government?

Several anti-American trolls were able to establish themselves during the Obama presidency because too many people got fooled and thought generic anti-Americanism is only against Obama and not against the whole idea of America.

I noticed that posts from outlets like morningstar.co.uk (Red Morning Star - the paper of the British Revolutionary Communist Party) became popular.

Cranked is of that type. He is posting articles from places like Communist Party USA, World Socialist Forum and Venezuelan state propaganda Telesur without seemingly realizing how out of place these are in a conservative forum.

Big problems with your posts is that you cant handle what is being dished to you and that your responses only solidify the idiocy that is within them.

Cranked is an unusual name to choose for a troll. Perhaps they didn’t understand that an old crank is the same as an old kook.

Way back during the fake referendums, many of the trolls took pride in North Korea’s official recognition of the results. So yes indeed, they are “literal” commies.

‘At Least 37 Million People Have Been Displaced by America’s War on Terror’ https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/08/magazine/displaced-war-on-terror.html

If you're going to just reply with random horror stories of how America is BAD, why not just go all the way and post your Pro-North Korea propaganda again?

Can you explain how?

I really just want to see you try, for once in your posting career, to make a coherent, logical point.

Making insane assertions you're unwilling to defend doesn't help your cause.

Putin tries to take over the entire country. This goes more than caring for those in Eastern Ukraine. He wants to rebuild Russian empire. The conflict in the east became a pretext for his imperial dream, too. The sheer scope of his invasion turned everything else into a convenient pretext.

Graft based in Ukraine keeps the US regime alive? Oh what a sweet innocent child.

The US itself produces all the financing of this US regime, and any other that will ever need to be “controlled”. Have you any idea how much money depends (just) on manipulation of US regulatory agencies? Ukraine is a small and poor country. Even all of Russia controls a tiny fraction of assets and income streams that the US Feds regulate. Even China ... but you get my point.

Biden is a figurehead, a puppet, and all his minders and the committee that controls his speech and acts, his “administration”, are just hirelings. You think that the matter of Ukraine is about the petty cash to pay these trivial creatures off?

As above - you sweet, innocent child.

Mexico was never part of the United States, so the history and demographics are not analogous to the Ukraine/Russia situation. Had Mexico once been part of the U.S and became a new state that sought to erase the culture and language of the English speakers living within the new state’s borders, than it would be likely the U.S would be bombing the crap out Mexico to help the bros south of the border. One of Reagan’s pretexts for going into Grenada was the welfare of some U.S med students there. Imagine T.V images of thousands of yankees being hounded and oppressed by mexicans would do to gee up intervention.

The big question in Asia, over the last decade, has been whether, come the day, the US will be willing to defend Taiwan. China is a vastly more dangerous opponent than Russia. Taiwan is critical, purely because of its location.

A huge matter, geopolitically. If the US is unwilling (let alone unable) to fight the greatest air-naval war since WW2, then everyone in East Asia, from Japan to Australia, is screwed.
