This all goes away if DeSantis comes out publicly and states he will not be running in 2024 if President Trump decides or announces he is running in 2024.

At least part of this is DeSantis’s fault because he won’t come clean!

Kenneth C Griffin - neverTrumper RINO globalist.
Club for (china) Growth - free trade globalists.

Robert T Bigelow is an eccentric billionaire. Have no idea what his politics are.

$180 million for an easy win governor's race? Come now.

Second largest expenditure was $6.3 million to Blitz Canvassing LLC in Colorado. https://www.transparencyusa.org/fl/candidate/ron-desantis-can/payees

They don't mention having done any work in FL. https://blitzcanvassing.com/

Many other expenditures for marketing, analysts etc. Tell me he's not running in 2024.

Youngkin is said to be the establishment's second choice after DeSantis. The 2024 repub primary has begun behind the scenes with donor$ so Trump is in primary mode and we all know how that works from 2016. Barbs, put downs and nicknames.

DeSantis should remain FL Gov like Cruz should stay in the Senate. They’re good at their current jobs

The fight is over this Congress. I hope Conservatives can keep their focus and not let the Liberal press lead them around by the nose. It is Trump/MAGA versus the GOPe RINOs.

MTG and a handful are Trump/MAGA.

DeSantis has my vote! I hope to never vote for Trump again. He is disloyal and broke Reagan’s commandment!

Watching the DeSantis / Charlie Crist debate, I was shocked Desantis never answered the question posed to him several times whether he would make a pledge that he would not run for president if he wins the governor position. He just stood there smirking like a doofus. I like Desantis but that wasn’t a good look for him and kind of set off a red flag for me.

“Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), a close ally of former President Trump, says Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) should stay on as governor amid rumors that he could challenge Trump for the GOP nomination in 2024.”

What rumors Marjorie? You mean the MSM that wants to divide us? Some people actually fall for this nonsense.

Agree. Florida is sitting well due to him. Can you imagine the torture his family would go through if he ran for president?

DiSantis needs to stay put!

People are pushing DeSantis. Trump supporters are responding.

Isn't that how it is supposed to work?

I believe Trump was truly a “peoples” President and loves this country but his caustic attitude and “mean tweets” turns a lot of voters off. I believe he should let DeSantis run and then DeSantis could make him Secretary of State.

As I posted before, DeSantis should finish his term in Florida, let President Trump run in 2024, and then become Trump's Attorney General in 2026 so DeSantis can build his own DC team to run in 2028.

Greg Abbott should be Trump's running mate in 2024 to make immigration reform the issue that Kamala Harris failed to manage.

Ted Cruz should consider running for the governor seat vacated by Abbott, and Dan Patrick can appoint his replacement in the Senate.

My problem with Trump is I don’t think he could win in 2024. He just made the odds worse with his big mouth. I really feel bad because I am a big supporter of all that he did for this country.

As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.

Patriots need to wake up to the constitutional reality that the Oval Office is not the most powerful peacetime office in the land as swamp-controlled FN seemingly wants everybody to believe imo.

This is because the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had reserved the lion's share of government power to serve the people to the states, not the unconstitutionally big federal government. This is evidenced by the 10th Amendment ratified later in the Bill of Rights.

"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

In fact, the constitutional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, a constitutional lawmaker, had clarified the following about the role of the very limited power federal government in our lives.

”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)

So Florida patriots don't want Gov. DeSantis to get elected to Oval Office to do all the good things for the whole country that he's done for Florida. This is because the states have never expressly constitutionally given the constitutionally limited power federal government the powers to serve the people like the states can do with their vast 10th Amendment powers.

Consider that Justice Louis Brandeis had volunteered his "laboratories of democracy" metaphor to emphasize the vast powers of the states to serve the people.

"[...] a single courageous State may, if its citizens choose, serve as a laboratory; and try novel social and economic experiments without risk to the rest of the country." —Justice Louis Brandeis, Laboratories of Democracy.

But until patriots wise up and work with their Trump-endorsed federal and state lawmakers to put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that the very corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress cannot reasonably justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers, the states will continue to beg for so-rcalled "federal" funding for state projects.

Such funding is arguably state revenues stolen by the feds by means of unconstitutional federal taxes according to the following excerpt from Gibbons v. Ogden.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Trump, with the continuing support of us patriots, can hopefully finish draining the swamp, peacefully putting the unconstitutionally big federal government back into its constitutionally limited power cage by the end of a second term in office.

Insights welcome.

From afar, in the land of fraudulent communist ballotcounting (MI), I like DeSantis.

We need as many solid ‘based’ R governors fully dedicating their time to advancing freedom in the face of the deep state/uniparty/globalist or whatever you want to call them.

That *especially* means those RINO people who are now trumpeting DeSantis’ name and trying to bury MAGA under it. As was written yesterday, Paul Ryan, who failed as a candidate, failed as speaker, and failed to stop a fraud wave of 2018, now claims to be someone we should listen to about 2024?

Trump and DeSantis themselves hardly enter into it — this is just the usual DC crew gaslighting everyone in order to put themselves back in the driver’s seat and the people back in the kiddy seat. IMO those two should team up and boot the RINOs and chat together about how to coordinate the 2024 primaries for the betterment of America.

There are a number of things that should happen, and each of the players have their own role to play.

1. President Trump needs to stop his public meltdown. He is lashing out across the board, distracting from the handful of races still in contest, especially the very important Georgia senate race. I am unaware of any slight by Glenn Youngkin that caused the latest attack from Trump against the Virginia governor.

2. Ron DeSantis has, to my understanding previously stated he will serve his full term in Florida. If this is correct, he should be pointing to that promise. He can use the next four years to stage himself for the 2028 election - by building his national brand. If Trump elects not to run, or if Trump continues his current self-immolation, DeSantis can still jump in.

3. Kari Lake is hitting all the right notes, IMHO. She is focusing on winning her race and becoming the governor of Arizona. She needs to show over the next four years how she will govern - hopefully within the boundaries she has erected in her campaign. She may well become President some day, but right now she is a minor league prospect getting a chance to play at the next higher level, to use a baseball analogy.

4. We, the MAGA base, need to stop and think before we reflexively support or oppose politicians. The media is the enemy of the truth. That should be a well understood axiom. Allow the politicians - and Trump after four years in the white house is also a politician now - time to figure out how to how to build their coalitions and build their defenses.

5. The GOPe needs to stop trying to separate the MAGA base from the MAGA leader(s). There was a deliberate strategy in 2022 to support the establishment and oppose the MAGA candidates from the GOPe “leadership”. This item is more of a wish than a demand - they did not accumulate their power listening to their constituents.

6. The GOP, both the MAGA base and the GOPe, need to embrace LEGAL tactics to maximize the number of ballots that are brough in. Where ballot harvesting is legal, we need to harvest ballots (with a clothes pin on our noses, if necessary). When the democrats break the law, we need to sue and even pursue charges as possible - with a white-hot righteous anger to prevent further erosion of personal freedoms and social liberty. Walk the legal line - don’t break the law, but don’t stray far from the line, either.

7. Last, but not least, conservatives like us need to stop attacking each other, both at the politician level and at the plebeian base voter level. Different ideas are just different ideas - they are not a personal attack. Get over your (and my) ego. Consider the pros and cons, argue (debate) vociferously for your point of view. But stop attacking anyone who has a different opinion. Attack the opinion - fine! Attack the person - you belittle yourself.

Tony Fauci’s enabler, Donald Trump, is throwing a hissy fit because freedom-fighting winner DeSantis is making him look like weak by comparison.

Sad.
