New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) said Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Rick Scott (R-Fla.) cost the GOP in the midterm elections with their respective comments on abortion and Social Security.
Sununu said on “Julie Mason Mornings” on SiriusXM’s POTUS channel in an interview that aired on Friday that Graham “didn’t do anybody any favors” when he proposed a 15-week national abortion ban or Scott with his comments in support of requiring Congress to renew Social Security every five years instead of it being automatically renewed.

Now he’s right on that. All Trump’s SCOTUS picks did was the rightfully return Abortion to the States.
The Lindsey opens his piehole about a Nationwide Abortion Ban, which is even more ridiculous than Roe v. Wade.
Yup - Indies broke left in a lot of battleground areas. Leave abortion to state level. SS I’d love to gut but never ever going to happen.
And here are Republicans voting to send billions to Ukraine, and Scott touches the Third Rail of Politics that is Social Security.

lindaSununu is actually right about that. I think Scott made a mistake. Graham’s was no mistake though. That was deliberate sabotage by the RINO Establishment.
They would rather have a much smaller Republican majority they could control than a large Republican majority that contained a lot of populists/nationalists who would not support them staying in leadership roles.
Americans overwhelmingly support a 20 week ban on abortion without threat to the mother’s life. That gets a lot more dicey in terms of public support if you say 15 weeks. Plenty will support that but plenty won’t. If you want to win national elections its stupid to come out proposing that.....that is once again, if you want to win.....

McConnell wanted a slight GOP victory, enough to blame Trump for it not being a “Red Tsunami”.
He knew just how to blunt it along with his Toady, Miss Lindsey.

Our candidates did NOTHING in response. They sat on their hands and let the Democrats paint the GOP candidates as evil.
With early voting and vote-by-mail, our candidates need to respond immediately. No more waiting until Labor Day for the campaign to really begin.
After the Fetterman debate, the #1 search on Google was “how do I change my ballot”. This PROVES that Fetterman had the votes of all those who saw Dr Azz as a carpetbagger who would ban abortion and strip seniors of social security.

FINALLY someone in the GOP says something I agree with. The Dobbs decision helped spark the flame, but when Lindsey Graham instead of saying let the states decide, he came up with this bill saying if the GOP won the senate they would do this blanket ban its like what the hell are you doing its Lindsey Grahams fault..it brought young people to the polls like CRAZY..that is why we didnt have a red tsunami, red wave, whatever you want to call it..notice that muh democracy or Jan 6th wasn’t on the top 10, it was the economy and abortion and unfortunately abortion mattered to a lot of people more than we even realized

For the last 30 years Democrats have exploited the Social Security issue and Rick Scott just walked everybody right into their trap.
I still think Lindsey Graham’s remark and stunt was an act of sheer sabotage. Nobody could be that politically stupid. He knew exactly what he was doing.
