Former President Donald Trump broke cover Thursday evening and insisted that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis rule himself out of the race for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, describing his potential rival as an “average REPUBLICAN Governor with great Public Relations.”
“Ron DeSanctimonious is playing games! The Fake News asks him if he’s going to run if President Trump runs, and he says, ‘I’m only focused on the Governor’s race, I’m not looking into the future,'” Trump said in a tantrum issued from his Save America PAC, reprising a nickname for DeSantis trialed at a Nov. 5 rally in Pennsylvania. “Well, in terms of loyalty and class, that’s really not the right answer.”
The 45th president, who was lampooned as “Trumpty Dumpty” on the front page of Thursday’s Post after his handpicked candidates struggled in the most crucial of Tuesday’s midterm elections, took credit for DeSantis’ rise to the Florida governorship and suggested that weather was the real reason for the 44-year-old’s popularity.
“Governor Ron DeSanctimonious,” the former president said, “an average REPUBLICAN Governor with great Public Relations, who didn’t have to close up his State, but did, unlike other Republican Governors, whose overall numbers for a Republican, were just average—middle of the pack—including COVID, and who has the advantage of SUNSHINE, where people from badly run States up North would go no matter who the Governor was, just like I did!”
Trump, whose divisive intervention in the midterms is being blamed for independents turning decisively against Republican candidates, further alleged that DeSantis “came to me in desperate shape in 2017—he was politically dead, losing in a landslide” in Florida’s GOP gubernatorial primary.

I didn’t believe I could ever feel this way, but the MSM
has been right all along. Hillary was right. She and
those who tried to remove Trump for collusion with Russia
were right. Those who conspired to use illegal means to
remove Trump by election there-by pull off a coup, they
were right.
Trump was wrong to build the wall. He was wrong to
appoint SCOTUS justices who would strike down Roe v
Wade.
He was wrong to institute policies that saw our stock
markets roar. He was wrong to institute policies that
kept our energy prices low and product abundant. He
was wrong to reduce the unemployment rates for Blacks,
Hispanics, and women to all time lows.
I could go on, but you catch my drift. He has said
some bad illogical things, and this time they’ve
finally got him on the run like they always promised
they would. Thank heaven for that.

He didn’t allow people to trash him and remain silent
He didn’t come down on the side of the illegal immigrant.
He didn’t praise Leftists and agree with the One World
Odor. How could I have been so blind, and so critical
of the Bush family for doing these sorts of things.
If only I could take all that back.
I can’t image four more years of the kind of things
Trump did last time, and so I join the DNC, the RNC,
the GOPe, the MSM, and every Leftist Democrat and
the RINOs, to condemn Trump and demand he pass the
torch to someone who knows what they are doing.
Mitch, Paul, a whole host of Republicans who slandered
him and demanded he step down, were right.
Refusing to work with him was the best thing that
ever happened to this nation.
Pelosi, Rove, the Bushes, the Cheney’s, the McCains,
McConnell, Ryan, the NeverTrumpers, and so many more
wise people, I have come to understand that you were
right all along.
It’s time to move on from Trump.
I see so many of my FReeper buds now saying this, and
although I thought they should be ashamed for acting
like that, I have come to see just how wise they were.
I’d like to suggest we get behind De Santis, but then
I realized he would certainly support about 99.99% of
what Trump did, so I’d just like to cut to the chase
now rather than waste another four years, when we
would turn on him too.
So lets look for someone that doesn’t believe in what
Trump does. Liz Cheney, Megan McCain... I don’t know
guys, these women were out there trashing Trump long
before any of us were. I’ve had to change my long
standing disagreement with them.
CNN, the View, all these amazing places that said things
about Trump that so many of us now seem to agree with,
I salute these people. Finally, I can watch these
programs and feel at home with my fellow travelers.
If only we had listened.
I don’t know about others, but I feel so much better
knowing I have the best fellow travelers I could have
now that I’ve seen the light.
He’s finally on the run. He’ll withdraw from public
life any day now. He’ll be in prison within months if
he doesn’t, perhaps anyway.

Its a bad look. No way to spin it. It’s not 4D or 5D chess either. It just look bad. DeSantis just won an overwhelming victory statewide and is dealing with a hurricane. Trump is sitting in his big house slinging poop on social media.

He really IS all about himself. The reason he was such a good President was apparently because he figured being pro-American would bolster his image to others. He was right.
Nothing happened to him. DeSantis campaigned in one state while trump campaigned all over the country doing rally’s and fundraisers for candidates in all states.
Trump made DeSantis, he copied all Trumps moves and actions, and he had a full republican legislature behind him. If DeSantis had an ounce of loyalty he would be loud and clear about not running. He hasn’t said a word which means the man doesn’t have an ounce of integrity or loyalty.
Better we know now what he’s made of rather than finding out in 2028 that he’s just another Jeb Bush.

I am terribly upset. Not about the election because I understand what all happened.
I am set that my Hero, Donald Trump, the one who saved America once and could save it again, is destroying himself and all my dreams of a MAGA America.
