I don’t know how accurate it was, but a recent poll supposedly revealed that 40% of Americans and 27% of Canadians believe that only a dictatorship can solve the problems we face. I am also unsure as to how many of those are hoping for a right wing dictatorship and how many for a left wing dictatorship. I suspect however this poll has captured the general frustration with the cultural divide and is basically a measure of support for some magical solution where the political right somehow takes over without opposition (and this would solve all problems). I can’t say that I am entirely opposed to this notion basically because I can’t see any other workable alternative and leaving government in the hands of progressives in both our countries will clearly lead to chaos and disaster on a huge scale. Nobody but a few well protected elites will benefit from that, in particular, unmarried women, ironically, their vote choice is the worst they could make. Democrats (and the Canadian left) will pretend to care about their client groups, women, the poor, native people, minorities, but will actually never care about them, they will just harvest their votes and move on, much like rock stars treated women in the 1970s, they sensed the want and the adoration, used them and were out of town the next day.
And the women loved them anyway. Change my mind.

AMEN! These “strong independent women” (TM) with the help of gov’t sponsored indentured servitude against whomever she names as father on the birth certificate, tend to eventually marry “yes dear” beta male walking wallets or go lesbo and live off a more successful female.
I know because my very alpha husband still has the ex leftard shrew on the payroll for another 13 months— the last of the three— goes to age 21 here, yet you can vote at age 18.
His ex-shrew, her measly mouth “man” and all three grown kids are a leftist voting bloc.
Well, I’m a seventy five year old woman, had a pretty productive life, and I’ve had exactly the same sentiment for quite some time now! In fact I think the founders had it right on so many issues. People who don’t work and own nothing have no stake in the country, and are basically just all about me, me, me.
In short, these female useful idiots voted to get married to government in order to get free stuff.

They’re not all welfare queens. Look around. Women working everywhere. Most office jobs, retail, management, HR, government, banking.
And the majority of women want infanticide.
It sure shows why they are unmarried.
I remember returning to California from the Middle East as a result of the 1967 war there. I crossed from the East Bay and through Palo Alto to Stanford for a job interview. In Black East Palo Alto the streets were loaded with people celebrating. I needed gas, and at the station asked the attendant what was the occasion. He said it was “Mother’s Day.” I said I didn’t know that, but I had been abroad for a number of years. The answer was “Sure, this the day the welfare checks arrive.”

The irony is that most of those women couldn’t get laid on a aircraft carrier that’s been at sea for a year.
Mothersday was a nationwide thing.
Grocery stores stayed open all night.
The end of each month was like a breath if fresh air back then.
This was before some fool declared it’s their money and before plastic cabbage.
Now every won is flashing a card a pocket full.
The abortion decision apparently had a big effect.
And they will mostly remain unmarried, wedded to the false security of government.
Set aside (momentarily) the fact that killing babies is the issue, and consider that the killing of the babies, although morally primary, is SECONDARY to the root cause of the problem, which is the delay of marriage up to the age of declining fertility.
In addition to rampant baby killing, this is also leading to population collapse, replacement levels of immigration, and, not for nothing, broken hearts of such a magnitude as to require industrial level production of antidepressants for the well-off and of fentanyl for the underclasses.
