RICHMOND, Calif., — The crazed man who allegedly attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer was deeply involved in conspiracy theories like QAnon and had “fried his brain” with drugs, people who knew him told The Post.
“I think he was traumatized… It got worse and worse because he went down a rabbit hole and he was watching videos all the time,” Frank Ciccarelli, who employed DePape for six years at his landscaping business, told The Post.
“When I met him he was more of a liberal early on … but it became the whole thing, Hillary Clinton, Pizzagate, the election was stolen, QAnon. He didn’t believe everything, and I tried to talk to him rationally, but there was just a block there.”
Ciccarelli said DePape — who allegedly broke into the Speaker’s home and shouted “Where’s Nancy?” while confronting her husband — “had a deep antipathy toward liberals,” but noted that “he never mentioned Nancy Pelosi.”
The 76-year-old described how DePape had been sleeping rough when he first met him, but he’d helped him find a place and he had been living in the garage of a 90-year-old former photographer for the last two years.

I said it the first time Qanon appeared here on FR. Associating with it was a bad idea.
It's self-created by the Dems and their lapdog media as a useful counterpoint to justify their own extremism and crackpot conspiracy theories. They know, and we know, that there is no organized right-leaning group that goes out to burn, loot and kill.

Funny how the story suddenly changes to fit the left’s pre-ordained narrative.
It’s easy to dismiss the Quackeroos as nuts but then when they get pi$$ed and start coming after you, it’s a different story. Then you’ll be like “Halp! Halp!” and people will start throwing things at you. And just try to get away from them! Haha, yeah, just try, SQUIRREL.
It’s also easy to get hooked into their crazy BS world. It’s not like every single thing they say or do is false: The best lies that sucker the most people always contain a truth or two.
Personally I think “Q” is kinda like the Libertarian Party: It started out with some really interesting stuff; you could tell that someone had a lot of info on covert govt/military ops, for example - and someone had some insider info (probably because they had been victimized) about the child-grooming, child-molesting, baby-killing Democrats. That was all well and good. Just like the Libertarians, they’re off to a great start.
But because there’s nobody at the wheel, whatever authority the originators of “Q” had was quickly taken away from them and it just turned into a nuthouse. (Like the Libertarians. The moral of the story, perhaps, might be “leadership is still important when dealing with humans.”)
Q has started to elevate itself above its original purpose and - haha, I know this will anger many, BUT - I know that once DT was in office, the aggregate started to work against him. It wasn’t about the President’s power: It was about the power of the COLLECTIVE. “We raised him up, now we will bring him down. If we can do that to a President, what can’t we do to you? OBEY US.”
It’s unfortunate that gab.ai got banned from the interweb that first time, after the Tree of Life synagogue shooting (the anniversary of which was about a week ago). I say that it’s unfortunate because there were lots of examples of the “Trump is going down now; watch us work!” routine that disappeared forever. I also saw various people being offered status or power within the aggregate if they would agree to do some effed-up thing to someone else. (I also saw prostitutes soliciting, snuff videos, people celebrating the suicide of someone they had been hassling, people expressing discontent because the site didn’t allow ENOUGH criminal action to suit their tastes, Ru$$ians talking about how they are taking over the world, and many other things.)
But then gabbite R Bowers decided to practice what he preached and all that interesting stuff that offers insight into “Q” is gone.
Ultimately, you can tell Q is just a magnet for drug-addled losers now. There may be a few sincere people involved, but they are likely wogs. (In Scientology lingo, a “wog” is someone who doesn’t know about Scientology but enables the cult by unknowingly providing money or support.)
Scientology is not a religion, by the way. If it WAS a religion it would be a lot like Islam that persecutes/kills people who realize it’s bu11sh1t and try to get away.

It has always been a bad idea. Fortunately four years later it’s finally started to disappear. A little late for site credibility. Better late than never.
Scientology and Qanon are both cults. Neither are religions but don’t tell their adherents that.
Qanon is kind of like the supposed hacker group called Anonymous. Pretty much posts that could be from anyone that are absudly credited to a mysterious person or people with special inside knowledge. Likely the sources are different pranksters.
