‘Massive’ Airstrikes Cut Off Power and Water in Kyiv
Breitbart ^ | 10/31/2022 | JACK MONTGOMERY

Facing reverses on the frontline, Russian forces are intensifying strategic strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure, with a renewed bombardment of Kyiv (Kiev) cutting off power and water in the capital.

Vitali Klitschko, the former heavyweight boxing champion who serves as the capital city’s mayor, said an energy facility powering “about 350,000 apartments in Kyiv” had been rocked by five explosions in the early hours of Monday morning.

“The number of people this thread cheerleading Russia’s attack on civilians is degusting.”

I think you may be confusing ambivalence towards both sides as “cheerleading”.

NATO, in particular, the US has provided Ukraine a false sense that they could fight this war. They cannot on their own do so, but with weapons provided by NATO, they can extend their offensive capability far past the point where they would sue for peace.

That’s what I want. Stop fighting, let the diplomacy begin. But Ukraine thinks with attitude and an endless supply of money from the West (with an appropriate amount returned to the back pockets of western politicians). Even if they are right (and they probably are, regarding being invaded), the continued war serves no purpose. The offensives that they mount that they would be unable to execute without US weapons beget counteroffensives against critical infrastructure.

The continued fighting serves no purpose for the Ukrainians. Stop it, sue for peace, see what can be gained through diplomacy (if only avoiding a brutal winter for its citizens) - and a good chunk of the EU as well.

If you really cared about Ukrainian civilians, you’d agree that they should sue for peace now. That means no attacks on their enemy, and no enemy attacks on them. One hopes the two evil participants in this war could agree on this, but perhaps it is too late.

If you really cared about America, you’d be against arming Ukraine with our weapons, financed with more debt and taxes (with the previously mentioned “commission” extracted by Democrats and Republicans alike).

Your moral high ground is a low country swamp. You should know better.

How many Ukrainians are still in Ukraine?

10,000,000?

So Ukraine is still winning this war like we’ve been told?

And outlaw internal combustion planes, tanks, and food transport. That’ll stop a war.

Yup....still winning as long as we send money (20%) being siphoned off? After Dr. Z and his cohorts get enough money to leave Ukraine in peace(hiding) the war will end.
Just my opinion. Putin ain’t no choirboy for sure.

“How is this possible?”

Because overall Russia is losing territory and also losing irreplaceable equipment like flagships.

"Like you know, bridges."

It was a road & rail bridge. I'm pretty sure the Russian military uses both.

No, there are actually people in this thread rooting for the Russians doing this, that may not be you, in which case I wasn’t talking about you. But those that are doing so are disgusting. Even if I were against the US government sending any aid to Ukraine I would still be disgusted by what Russia is doing.

This is a European problem. Our constitution subscribes defense of this nation and it’s borders...not Ukraine. Get it!

Check your history. The US Army was fighting the Reds in 1919-1920. We left and Reds won.

I don’t care who is winning this war. Besides, Ukraine is as corrupt as the U.S. government and the Russian government. Do we set ourselves up to be this bastion of truth and integrity? Good grief!

Our nation is broke. Monetarily and morally. How many billions of hard earned tax $$$’s are we going to allow these numb skulls up in D.C. to send to this place?

Can you imagine how our own citizens could have benefited from the Trillions sent to battle cave dwellers in Afghanistan for over twenty eff’n years. Seriously.

Now pumping billions into Ukraine. Insanity.

I’m more concerned about the Soros/elitist types trying to take down my country and buy her cheap like they did when the USSR fell. China and the moneychanger/launderers within are the real enemy.

We’re wasting our tax dollars on a revenge war when we should be building America back up. We’re straddled with debt that our Grandkids can’t repay. The sheer stupidity of people cheering on the loss of billions of dollars for a useless war is something else. The same people that want to take down Russia are the same people that want to take down America. Wake the hell up.

China and the enemy within sits back and laughs as America becomes hollowed out.

I dunno, do you. I could care less.
All I know is there was some really corrupt stuff going on in Ukraine and our ferals were in on it as well as the Bidens.

Before this thing broke out, multiple news reports of the governmental corruption in Ukraine. Now, no one cares. Let’s just fly the triple color Ukranian flag to make ourselves seem righteous.

What a kabuki theater this is.

Putin is not a good guy. He poisons people with plutonium and such. That said, anyone who supports Ukraine and this Zelensky guy is an idiot.

Idiots for believing what the feral gubbamint is feeding them through a CORRUPT mainstream media lapdogs.

Hook, line and sinker. This keeps up and our boys will be shedding blood over there rather than this stupid proxy.

Good grief, people can be so stupid.

I agree as it is a direct conflict and not a covert operation.

However, as a side party, we can have covert operations as long as they stay covert.
