How the impending red wave could become a tsunami
The Hill ^ | 10/31/2022 | DOUGLAS E. SCHOEN

Posted on 10/31/2022 7:11:58 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

The Republican Party’s midterm prospects have markedly improved over the last several weeks. But will 2022 be a red wave election year on par with GOP victories in 1994 and 2010?

The warning signs are clearly flashing for the Democratic Party. Recent polling finds that support for Republicans — both generically and in individual races — has increased substantially amid heightened national concerns about the economy and crime, two issues that the GOP leads on. Meanwhile, protecting abortion rights, the crux of the Democratic agenda has become a much less salient issue.

Here’s a survey for you all. Let’s say that the rats/MSM spin the Pelosi thing as far as they can even to the point the perp is transformed into a MAGA. How much can this move the “precious” independent vote?

Psssst. Republican prospects have not recently improved.

It was always this way. The corporate media just had to stop lying nearly as much in their push polls.

They do this every time. They try to boost fundraising for Democrats and they try to discourage Republican donors and voters. Then, as we get closer to the elections they have to try to pivot to at least remotely resemble reality.

Then the next time they say something along the lines of “see? Our poll was only 2-3 points off.” Of course, they fail to mention their poll was at least 10 points off for months and months until they pivoted in the last couple weeks to save their credibility for future gaslighting purposes.

Every. Single. Time.

Picking up 25 House seats and getting 51 in the Senate would be a dream come true.

Picking up 25 House seats and getting 51 in the Senate would be a dream come true would suck

Pickup should be 60+ HOR and 5+ Senate.

The only question about the fall election was how massive and down ballot it would go.

I have used PA as my bellweather from the start if the GOP wins there as horrible and off brand rino globalist that the candidate is there then candidates don’t matter the election is purely a rejection of the D brand.

Fetterman’s stroke made the bar lower than it would have been.. but it still a goo bellwether. If OZ wins gop will be winning in places no one is even talking about up and down the ballot

Exactly. This election will demonstrate whether the ballot box still works. Can’t imagine a clearer test.

Zero. Nobody cares. It’s so obvious that Dems are trying to pin this on Republicans out of desperation that I think it damages their cause even more.

And a nightmare for the left as the hearings, trials and impeachments would soon follow endlessly!!!

If this was the Dems’ idea of their “October surprise,” it’s kind of weak sauce.

How could it become a red tsunami? If people grow brains in the next few days, that’s how.

You’ve been bitching about Oz for months now. Kindly explain why Oz is a “rino globalist”. I saw him at the Trump rally, on Hannity, and the other shows and he says all the right things and is sincere about them. A RINO fraud would have trouble articulating the lies if he was faking it. It’s like you want the Dems to win.

If the article has the word “could” or “might” in the title, it ain’t news.

I will believe it when I see it.
