The United Nations General Assembly's first committee, which deals with disarmament, global challenges, and threats to peace that affect the international community, voted 152-5, on Friday, on a resolution concerning "the risk of nuclear proliferation in the Middle East". The resolution states that Israel must dispose of all its nuclear weapons and place its nuclear sites under the International Atomic Energy Agency's purview.
The resolution, which is submitted every year to the UNGA in New York, was submitted by Egypt and sponsored by the Palestinian Authority and 19 counties including Bahrain, Jordan, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates.
Canada, Israel, Micronesia, Palau, and the United States voted against the resolution. Another 24 countries abstained, including European Union members.
While Israel has never officially admitted to having nuclear weapons, the resolution clearly singles out the Jewish state.

“There was this boating accident while fishing the other day.”
Remembering the Golda Meir saying if the Arabs give up their weapons, there will be peace. If the Israelis give up theirs, there will be a massacre. True then, true now.
You can thank the Rockefellers.
(or damn them)
Never trust a Muslim when it comes to war and peace.
No,Zimbabwe.
“clown show needs to be relocated to Switzerland”
Nah, Swaziland (now renamed Eswatinit...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eswatini)
It is about time they did their part to assist the undeveloped world by relocating there.
I am sure King Mswati III would be happy to welcome them with open arms—and the natives are very friendly...
From the article:
“28% of the adult population is HIV-positive”
lol.
Disarming your adversary is the FIRST RULE OF TYRANTS!
“Too bad the un fails to see how stupid they really are.”
They’re not stupid. Every two-bit country in the world has monetized its UN vote. The US uses this too. Want to invade Iraq? Give away juicy contracts for US hardware. Give away a few million here and there for (fill-in-the-bank) assistance. Grease a few palms and *poof* even Iraq’s best friends are voting against them. But except for that and a few other fig leaf votes in the favor of whatever Uncle Sam wanted, the UN is an anti-American, anti-Western, and anti-rule of law organization. Fortunately, if they get too far out of hand the US withholds the grease.
Since Israel has been able to count on the US’ vote in the security council, they don’t bother paying off the voters in the General Assembly. (An honest politician is one who stays bought. Nobody in the GA is honest so it isn’t worth the effort for Israel to buy a vote here or there.)
Maybe President Retard should stop funding terrorism instead
It's not in New York by coincidence.
This whole clown show needs to be relocated to Switzerland.
Maybe the Switzerland in Comic Book Universe, here it needs to be compost.
I hear Sudan is nice......or Somalia
Many years ago, Israel moved into Southern Lebanon to stop Iran/Hezbollah from easily launching rockets into Israel. Besides giving up Gaza, one of their mistakes was leaving Southern Lebanon. Not very long after they left, Hezbollah / Iran started building rockets and rocket launchers RIGHT NEXT TO UN ‘peacekeepers.’ Might as well have UN labels on the rockets.
The united nations is proof of how mob rule happens in pure democracies.
UN out of the US
US out of the UN
Could have been the Bee!
If all of everyone else has to give them up the so do we. We are not exempt.
Why would Israel sign a motion demanding it give up its nuclear weapons?
My mistake. When I saw the first countries on the list, I thought they would be pro-removal.
Should I just snicker or break out into a full blown falling of my chair LMAO? Decisions, decisions.
You misspelled “Swaziland”.
