I’m getting a picture of a rather sordid personal life for Paul Pelosi (when Nancy is away which is probably most of the time) and this episode being some prank gone wrong, not in terms of ending wrong but being framed very badly in such a way that almost anyone can see there’s something staged and contrived about it. The best one could say is that during an encounter that resembled past encounters, this one went off the rails as the visitor went off his meds, and it was solely his idea to “do something to help” his friends the Pelosis.
Pretending to be a MAGA American who broke in to attack Nancy Pelosi was his idea of something that could help. I suppose for a day or two the bare bones of the story would feed into Democrat narratives but surely after a couple of days the story would be doing more harm than good as an evident example of Democrat perversity and decadence. The media might also want to consider if their theory that the people will believe anything has limits.
