Musk had until Friday to complete his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter or face a court battle with the company.

Trump said he would not post there. But it would be nice to have all of Trump’s old tweets visible.

He said he wasn’t going back, that he was committed to his Truth Social platform.

Has anyone discovered yet why Musk was carrying the bathroom sink around?

As an imperfect metaphor for "everything" as far as points of view? As in, Twitter will host everything, even the 'kitchen' sink?

It would be interesting to see his platform. Every time I try, I hit a wall, but not at full speed, so I just back up and lose interest. Not rejoining twitter, either.

I wonder if Elon will relocate Twitter’s headquarters from the Bay Area to Texas, like he did with Tesla.

I hope he does just for spite. Lots of real estate fixing to go on the market in S.F. I would imagine.

Meanwhile, the New York Stock Exchange confirmed on Friday morning that Twitter shares are now suspended for trading, which means the social media platform is headed for delisting and is no longer a public company.

On Thursday night, Musk tweeted: “The bird is freed.”
