One thing at a time. Let’s first concentrate on winning the Majority on November 8th. After that, the Republican Senators will have two months to decide their leadership.

(the Democrats) Bitch McConnell, needs to be placed in
mothballs. His reign of ‘Never Trump’ is over.
He and Ryan passed up the opportunity of a lifetime, when
they thumbed their noses at Trump, and couldn’t think of
more than one big bill to submit to him in two years.
Portions of that Tax cut bill expire in 2025.

McConnell has some things to his credit. But mostly he is part of the corrupt system. McConnell is invested in the status quo.

,,,could Republicans winning control of the Senate usher in Florida Senator Rick Scott as the new Senate Majority Leader? Not while McConnell has a single breath left in his body.

For those of you living under a rock back in 2019, then-Senate Minority Leader McConnell worked feverishly to defeat a young, conservative political newcomer named Marco Rubio in favor of then-Republican Governor Charlie Crist.
:::::::::::::::
2019 was just before Covid arrived. So the Editor of the Floridian might be a ….FlorIdiot? Young newcomer Marco Rubio?
Wonder what else is incorrect in the article.

The House doesn’t choose their Speaker nor does the Senate choose their Majority Leader.
The Chamber of Commerce anoints them.

The reason he has so much sway in these elections is he controls the Senate campaign finances. He had some major hand in crafting language so that only he could say who gets any money.
It’s his way or the highway because of that.

The old fart McConnell won’t fight for winnable seats because the candidates, in his crap opinion, are not electable, such as in NH, WA, AZ, AK, PA, etc. The candidates were chosen BY THE PEOPLE of those states, and there is absolutely no excuse for the RNC not to get behind these candidates. Republicans could easily take back the Senate were it not for this back-stabbing traitor.

If Scott’s work results in an R senate majority then he has earned the position. McConnell has blocked many of the things that Scott has tried to accomplish, and that alone should cost Mcconnell the leadership.
