The teenage gunman who killed a teacher and a 15-year-old pupil at his old St. Louis high school left a note calling his lonely life a “perfect storm for a mass shooter” — and was armed with enough ammo to kill hundreds.
Orlando Harris, 19, left a manifesto-like note in his car before storming Central Visual and Performing Arts High School with an AR-15-style rifle and at least 600 rounds of ammo Monday, killing two and injuring seven others, police said Tuesday.
“He wrote, ‘I don’t have any friends. I don’t have any family. I’ve never had a girlfriend. I’ve never had a social life. I’ve been an isolated loner my entire life. This was the perfect storm for a mass shooter,'” Commissioner Michael Sack said, reading from the note.

Harris — who graduated from the school last year — had yelled “You are all going to die!” as he opened fire, terrified pupils said.
One girl said she was eye-to-eye with the shooter before his gun apparently jammed and she was able to run out.
Harris injured seven students — all aged 15 or 16 — and killed tenth-grader Alexandria Bell, 15, and 61-year-old physical education teacher Jean Kuczka before he was shot dead in a shoot-out with cops.

What I can’t figure out is why he thought he should take his crappy lonely life out on other innocent people. That may be the reason why he had such a crappy, lonely life. Everyone knew he was a ticking time bomb murderer.

And yet many people, instead of listening to his own admission, will be saying “must be the violent video games” or “must be the antidepressants” or “must be the AR-15s”.

These Black shooters are really taking it up a notch. It’s usually just black on black shootings at the liquor store or over a drug deal gone wrong. This is so bad for the Democrat narrative about white Nra members,and white supremacist doing all of the mass shooting events.

Sounds like the gun jammed or more damage might have been done. The note should have included “can’t shoot, either.”
The caption on the link to the article on my local paper’s website mentioned the “AR-15-style weapon” and how many rounds he had, but nothing about his background, motive or psychological condition. The caption could have said something like “School shooter’s manifesto spoke of loneliness, depression,” but of course it focused on the weapon.

I was talking with a friend of mine who is a counselor, and I said something about trying to understand the irrational behavior of a family member. She said something that’s stuck with me ever since. You can’t make sense out of irrational/crazy thoughts that others have, because they are irrational by definition, and will never make any sense. So stop trying. It has really helped me let go when someone else does something that I don’t understand.
I still do wish we could help people though. It seems like we should be able to do SOMETHING.

From his note it sounds like he might have been willing to be dragged out of depression.

He would need to be narcissistic, thinking only about himself. No one else mattered. He was the type who is devoid of empathy. Someone like this would make a bad employee, a bad husband or lover and just a poor companion all around. I would be shocked if he wasn’t also doing drugs. He had probably killed a few animals.
There was a shooter in Oregon who had his social media scrubbed when he blamed sever metal illness on the COVID lock downs and the isolation he felt. He wanted to go out “famous.” Sadly he killed two people before he killed himself. Also scrubbed from the local media reports was that a woman pulled her own gun and covered her family as they escaped through the back door of a grocery store.
Public school is part of the problem but this scum is just a useless POS.
