Thereās a very small percentage of the population that is highly aggressive. According to Jordon Peterson, this is behavior that goes back to early childhood. Petersonās perspective isnāt some leftist mantra of toxic masculinity, so donāt get the wrong idea. Peterson basically says there is no successful method to change highly aggressive personalities. I draw from that these people cannot be reformed in prison. There is a very high probability that when released from prison they will offend again. The one thing that does seem to work is simply getting too old to be violent.
Seems like violent offenders need first sentences that are long enough for them to get too old to be violent.
