Let's hear from the liberaltarian FReepers who insisted that legalizing pot wouldn't result in increased usage.

A pot-addled America is an easily conquered America.

Nancy Reagan just rolled over in his grave.
Unfortunate, and will have generational consequences.

Pot is a relatively benign drug compared to alcohol, cocaine/crack, heroin/fentanyl, etc.

Pick your battles carefully.

The Greatest Generation sure enjoyed their booze.

Odd, they get all upset with vaping, Which apparently a lot of kids like to use. But not a word about smoking “UNFILTERED” JOINTS.Now I hear that gummies is the big thing, probably better for you without the inhaled smoke.

Our “leaders” are getting the tuned-out, docile populace they’ve always wanted.

The pot products today aren't your grandfather's pot. THC concentration of typical 70s and 80s pot was a few percent. Products now can have THC concentrations ten to twenty times that.

The most disturbing trend has been use of this high concentration has led to psychosis among users, and addiction.

The stupid idea that pot is “harmless and non-addictive” was a lie.

But what do you expect from a bunch of potheads rationalizing their pot use?

Keeping them stoned and stupid is a recipe for the Democrat’s victory year in and year out.

I am more concerned that parents keep taking their kids to doctors to get them on narcotic speed, or better yet, something that can give them balance in their un balanced heads,, of which there is no measure, i think the only thing that can me measured is the absence of sense in the minds of the parents these days

Well that’s just great. A generation of mush headed zombies who are too addled and stupified to hold down a serious job. On top of that, they can’t they pass drug testing that’s required in a whole slew of occupations.

We can add to that the long term physical and psychoactive effects of chronic use/abuse.

Empty skulls full of Cannabis smoke. That’s what Jo Jo and his Far-lefties call “Buiding Back Better.”

A pot-addled America is an easily conquered America.

As a kid growing up in the late 60s and 1970s, I watched the adults pretty closely. Alcohol AND tobacco with lunch, then back to work. Smoke some more. Come home to a martini. Have another before dinner. Go out to eat. "What can I get you from the bar while you wait, sir?".Wine with dinner. Smoke while you eat. Later, a "Nightcap". Folks on this board are old. Everyone saw that. Do folks drink like that now? They just switched vices.

Yawn - it’s like booze, cigarettes and anti-psychotic prescription drugs- can be abused but not my problem.
