Israel has been providing Ukraine with "basic intelligence" on the Iranian drones used by Russia in its invasion, The New York Times said on Wednesday.
A senior Israeli official reportedly told the Times about the intelligence sharing, and that a private Israeli firm was also giving Ukraine satellite imagery of Russian troop positions.
"We are told that there are allegedly no Iranian drones in Ukraine. Well, we’ll find ways to ensure that there aren't any left, indeed."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Russia's use of Iranian drones Russian forces have been using several variants of Iranian drones in its Ukraine campaign since at least August, Ukrainian, American and UK officials have confirmed in separate intelligence reports.
In particular, Moscow has been using the Shahed-136 suicide drone. However, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has seen limited success.
"These UAVs are slow and fly at low altitudes, making lone aircraft easy to target using conventional air defenses," said the UK Defense Ministry on Wednesday, but noting that "there is a real possibility that Russia has achieved some success by attacking with several UAVs at the same time."

Here we go.......?
Jpost should be renamed The Russian Post
Almost every article they publish has either the words Ukraine or Russia in the headline all while ignoring local Israel news or just publishing left wing drivel.
A terribly sad collapse to a once great paper
Once Iran got involved, is there really any surprise that Israel would too?
this conflict gives Israel a chance to examine in detail the downed Iranian drones ... drones that Iran might try to use on Israel some day
The Labour Party used to reign supreme in Israel. With their decline and marginalization, the JPost has gone down, too. It’s not even the top left-wing Israeli rag. That “distinction” belongs to Haaretz, a/k/a NY Times East.
“In particular, Moscow has been using the Shahed-136 suicide drone.”
I wonder this article didn’t mention that this drone type is being mass produced in Russia (Geran-2).
The way the article is written misleads the reader into thinking all of this type are only made in and imported from Iran.
Intel Slava:
🇮🇷🇷🇺 Iran prepares transfer of Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar short-range ballistic missiles to Russia - Washington Post
These missiles are capable of hitting targets at a distance of 300 and 700 kilometers, respectively.
🇮🇷🇷🇺 Iranian sources report that Russia has ordered new Arash-2 UAVs from Iran. The warhead of the new drone is much larger than that of the Geran.
Putin, however, is Putin. If Israel is helping Ukraine, that means the Jooos! are all in it together, in his warped mind. And to him, that is base ingratitude. If Israel and Ukraine Jews are in conspiracy, then he can’t trust the Muscovite Jews, either. As his fortunes deteriorate, he will get more and more paranoid, and it will be channeled at the Russian Jews and Israel, because he can get his hands on them. And he will, probably not direct conflict with Israel, but supplying Hizbollah and Hamas with toys, just like Israel has to Zelensky. As for the Russian Jews living in Russia, life will grow very unpleasant. Russian dictators will be Russian dictators. His yes men will encourage this, because it takes the focus off of them.
The JPost has always been the mouthpiece of the Israeli Left. Maybe joke, maybe serious, but the saying was always Israeli government policy had to be pre-approved by JPost.
Israel supporting the “Nazis” in Ukraine?
Well, I never.
Russia will give information and support to Iran and Syria on Israel.
Everyone seems to want escalation.
Now China is getting aggressive on Taiwan as well.
CNN- Iran denies supplying Russia with weapons for use in Ukraine
Niamh Kennedy - 8h ago
“Iran has denied supplying Russia with weapons for use in Ukraine, saying it “has not and will not” do so.
The denial, reportedly made in a phone call between Iran’s Foreign Minister and his Portuguese counterpart on Friday, follows claims by Kyiv and US intelligence that Russia is using Iranian-made “kamikaze drones” in its attacks on Ukrainian territory.
The Iranian government said its Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian emphasized in the call “once again” that Tehran “has not and will not” provide any weapon to be used in the Ukraine war.
“We believe that the arming of each side of the crisis will prolong the war, so we have not considered and do not consider war to be the right way either in Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria or Yemen,” Amir-Abdollahian said, according to an Iranian readout of the call.”

The Washington Post-Iran plans to send missiles, drones to Russia for Ukraine war, officials say
Joby Warrick, Ellen Nakashima, Shane Harris - 5h ago
“Iran is strengthening its commitment to supply arms for Russia’s assault on Ukraine, according to U.S. and allied security officials, secretly agreeing to send not only attack drones but also what some officials described as the first Iranian-made surface-to-surface missiles intended for use against Ukrainian cities and troop positions.
Independent news outlets in recent days published photos of the remains of what appear to be Iranian-made drones used in strikes against Ukrainian targets, calling into question Iran’s repeated denials that it has supplied such weapons to its ally Russia. Pentagon officials also publicly confirmed the use of Iranian drones in Russian airstrikes, as well as Ukraine’s success in shooting some of the drones down.
In an apparent sign of Iran’s expanded role as a military supplier to Moscow, Tehran dispatched officials to Russia on Sept. 18 to finalize terms for additional weapons shipments, including two types of Iranian surface-to-surface missiles, according to officials from a U.S.-allied country that closely monitors Iran’s weapons activity.
An intelligence assessment shared in recent days with Ukrainian and U.S. officials contends that Iran’s armaments industry is preparing a first shipment of Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar missiles, two well-known Iranian short-range ballistic missiles capable of striking targets at distances of 300 and 700 kilometers, respectively, two officials briefed on the matter said. If carried out, it would be the first delivery of such missiles to Russia since the start of the war.
The officials spoke on the condition that their names and nationalities not be revealed because of the extreme sensitivities surrounding intelligence-collection efforts.”
I agree...doesn’t belong in news...
<< Russia will give information and support to Iran and Syria on Israel. >>
Russia has given such intel and support to Iran for the past 30+ years, and to Syria a lot longer than that.
Russia is day by day losing the capability to be relevant in Syria. Russia is seen to be weak in Ukraine and just ignorable bluster in Syria.
The Iranian surrogate Hezbollah seems to be more of an Israeli problem in Syria than a toothless Russia
In greater depth and amount. I know they have a relationship with Iran and Syria.
Russia already does that, and for North Korea too.
For a nominal fee of say 1 Billion US dollars I’ll sell them some advanced Intel on those Iranian drones.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HESA_Shahed_136
Russia is begging weapons from Iran and North Korea. I don’t think there’s much depth and amount left for them to give.
There’s no intel to share, other than these things are not much more than V-1 rockets, slow, low, and easily jammed commercial guidance systems.
They really can be taken out by soldiers with rifles.
That said, they are very very cheap. And a swarm of 10,000 is a real problem.
