Republicans across the country have made protecting girls' sports from biological male transgender athletes a campaign message as they seek to retake control of Congress next month, with at least one gubernatorial candidate highlighting the issue in recent campaign ad.
The issue of biological males who identify as females competing against women in women's sports has garnered national attention and resulted in a feud among the two political parties in America, and one group believes the issue may help turnout for Republicans in the November 8 election.
"Americans understand that female athletes have had their scholarships, their trophies and their dignity stolen by males competing in their sport and will make their voices heard at the ballot box," Penny Nance, CEO and president of Concerned Women for America, which is launching a bus tour to highlight the issue in five battleground states.
Republicans and Democrats are at odds with how the issue should be addressed, with those on the left defending the practice as affirming to transgender individuals and those on the right insisting it's unfair to pit young women against men in female leagues......
In contrast, Sara Norman, a former senior adviser to the Kamala Harris presidential campaign, said the concern over biological males competing in female sports events is "entirely manufactured" and insisted that's why Democrats have not focused on the issue in campaign ads.
"There are a tiny number of transgender high school students, and an even tinier number interested in playing sports," Norman said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

There are more incidents. There was a weightlifter and a few runners who shattered women’s records, but the issue isn’t exactly widespread or epidemic. With the trans issue, one is too many. Any acceptance or attempt at normalization of transgenderism must be met with resistance.
This is a winning issue for the GOP with any normal thinking person.
The question is how many normal thinking people are left in today’s America?
I do notice that the Media-Dem Party has stopped talking about “the war on women” since they themselves are waging a war that will eradicate women as a distinct and identifiable group altogether. The republicans should turn the “war on women” around and use it against the dems at every opportunity.
I’m glad the GOP is making political hay out of this, but the truth is that the whole issue of “protecting female sports” is a pathetic distraction.
There is really no place for the government to deal with this stupid issue of trannies in women’s sports.
Why are you here? All you do is bash, bash and bash the GOP. If the GOP bothers your peabrain so much, why not find a place more simpatico with your philosophies like say DU? And before you say you’re a conservative and the party is this, that or something else that annoys you, why not jump in and make change? You can’t that’s why, instead you’re just like a spoiled little girl who doesn’t get all the shiny baubles you see.
Well, insults aside, I think the GOP is the main threat to the American nation, that they enable Democrat victories even when they are in power and that we will not make progress towards victory until the GOP is destroyed.
You obviously haven’t read my critique of the nine major issues the GOP is willing to fight for if you can suggest I go to DU.
When a party I could support comes to power, DU will cease to exist.
Kamala’s Norman says there are no males currently competing as women against women. Therefore, Demonicrats should have no problem voting for a law that makes it illegal.
