Legal delays should last through lame duck until the J6 committee is no more.
The purpose of the J6 investigation should be to find out why security was so ineffective at the Capitol on Jan 6. For example: Why did they use only bicycle rack type fences? Why did they have fewer than usual Capitol Police on duty that day? Who opened the thousand pound magnetically locked doors from the inside? Why was the National Guard not permitted to be there until it iwas over? Etc.
If this were a company trying to continue in business and make a profit instead of the government, that is what the company would be trying to determine.
Of course, which is why these people make me sick. I expect this nonsense from Dems, but Cheney and Kinzinger are intentionally screwing the GOP and should be denounced by any and all Republicans.
I predict that he’ll use the opportunity to score points off them. They’ll still act like a bunch of sh*theels anyway and do whatever they can to annihilate him.
Donald Trump is, seriously, one of the most heroic presidents we have ever had - yes, I know a good number of US Presidents were war heroes, but his war didn’t start until he decided to run in 2016, and I don’t think he was entirely prepared for the virulence of the attacks that would be made against him.

If someone takes it seriously you know they are either stupid or a Leftist activist. It should have been laughed off the face of this earth, McCarthy was not aggressive enough in denouncing it.
Either way, while he is disputing their authority, the DOJ will swoop in to cuff him any way.

President Trump would have to first not show up at the designated time and place before the DoJ can do anything.

What I want to know is how did the event end? Did the crowd just spontaneously disperse after a few hours or did police force push them back? And what police, since there were relatively few there?
On November 7, 1972 Richard Nixon was elected President with 61% of the popular vote, 520 of 538 electoral votes, and 49/50 States.
After 20 months of the most sophisticated brainwashing operation ever carried out, before or since, he was forced to resign. As we now know, the operation (we still don’t know its code name) was carried out by the FBI, the DOJ, elements of the CIA, a Federal Judge, and its gaslighting component was carried forward by 3 TV networks and two major newspapers.
But that was then. Those three networks, and those two papers, together, were in effect a sole source propaganda operation, and normal Americans never even heard a peep of dissent from the main narrative. President Nixon’s party, as usual, was on its back foot, accepting the main narrative while quibbling about minor points.
The same forces attempted a re-run in 2017-2019, and failed. The illegitimate “January 6 committee”, which has no identified legislative purpose, is not a Grand Jury, is not organized under the rules of civil or criminal procedure, and which should have been disbanded after its apparent purpose - to issue an unconstitutional Bill of Attainder anainst a private citizen - was revealed.
The popular feeling that it was time for Nixon to go cannot be recreated by 1970s methods in 2022.
Yes that would be great BUT I have to think the Progressives are planning something massive to throw everything into a big mess. I rather suspect a limited nuclear attack on targets in Europe and Ukraine, maybe even the East coast..
