President Donald Trump was furious when the Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit to overturn the 2020 election results, according to details revealed during a Thursday hearing by the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
The committee shared a message from the Secret Service that described Trump's reaction to the news on December 11, 2020, as "livid."
"Just fyi. POTUS is pissed — breaking news — Supreme Court denied his lawsuit. He is livid now," the message read.
Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to ex-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, also testified to the committee that she saw Trump after the court's decision that day and that he was "fired up."
"The president's just raging about the decision and how it's wrong and why didn't we make more calls and just his typical anger, outburst at this decision," Hutchinson said.
Hutchinson, who offered an explosive testimony about Trump to the committee in its June 28 hearing, said she also recounted the president telling Meadows, "I don't want people to know that we lost."
"This is embarrassing. Figure it out, we need to figure it out," Hutchinson said Trump told Meadows following the Supreme Court's decision. ***

BFD, I was pissed also. Why would anyone read the “Business Insider”? Commie Libs know nothing about business.
Who the case sit until it was too late?
By the end of election week, the fraud was as obvious as the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake was to motorists on the Cypress Street Viaduct when it collapsed under and on top of them.
The talking heads on TV pretend to wonder why Trump was livid and why the public does not trust them, when they expect us to be blind unless they give their permission to see?
I don’t blame him for being pissed. That doesn’t make him guilty of anything. The day will come when the truth will come out despite the efforts of the RATS and the e to keep it quiet.
Great turn of the phrase!
Try again...
Who LET the case sit until it was too late?
CJ Roberts did. It could have been expedited but a political decision was made to not risk what they thought would be the fall out. Chickensh*t. The case about PA was filed months before the election and could have stopped the steal in the swing states - issue was state executive branches had usurped the state legislative branches by unilaterally changing state election laws. The PA case had the proper Plaintiffs named.
CJ Roberts is the culprit.
Another RINO/thought-to-be “conservative” who is the Left’s best friend.
I would have been pissed too !
